I do not recommend this product for those with sensitive and delicate skin, as even my husband mentioned that it feels scratchy. As for whether it will come apart or not, I cannot say, since I was unable to use it. It might be durable and sturdy-looking, but I cannot confirm its longevity or suitability for different skin types.
