The M-in-M Dip Powder Activator is a specialized product that enables the base coat soaked in Dip powder to harden, thus preparing it for buffing and the application of the finishing sealer. M-in-M Dip Powder serves a similar purpose to gel polish, which is why it’s also commonly referred to as gel powder. The term "Dip" essentially describes the method of application - the nail is coated by dipping it into the powder.
The Dip powder nail coating technology involves the direct use of the Dip powder itself, as well as three essential and irreplaceable products, specifically:
- Base Gel: a special base coat applied first to ensure high-quality, reliable adhesion between the color coat and the natural nail, while also protecting the nail plate;
- Activator: a product that hardens the base gel soaked in gel powder and also ensures the durability of the coating;
- Top Gel: a finishing gel that seals the gel powder, solidifying all previous coats, adding durability, and providing a beautiful glossy shine.
It’s worth noting that Dip powder is excellently suited for nail extension over tips, offering a swift, high-quality, and reliable solution.Application Method:
1. Perform a manicure, prepare the nail for coating, and thoroughly degrease;
2. Apply a thin layer of the base coat, avoiding contact with the cuticle and the sidewalls;
3. Without waiting for the base coat to dry, dip the nail into the Dip powder;
4. Gently brush off any excess powder from the nail;
5. Apply the activator to the nail, wait for it to completely dry (about 1 minute);
6. If desired, for a more intense color, repeat steps 2 through 5;
7. To smooth and achieve an even surface, buff the nail;
8. Use a lint-free cloth or brush to clean the nail from dust;
9. Apply 2-3 thin layers of the finishing coat, wait for it to dry (about 1-3 minutes);
10. If the finishing coat is tacky after drying, apply a thin layer of activator to remove the tackiness without damaging the surface.
The Dip powder coating is removed using a standard liquid for removing gel polish.
For coating long nails with Dip powder, it’s recommended to additionally reinforce the nails. To do this, simply cover the nail with a layer of clear gel powder (steps 1 to 4), leaving a 2-3 mm gap from the cuticle before applying the colored gel powder.
I have an allergy to gel systems and gel polish, and even though I have tried many products, I always had a terrible allergic reaction. However, this dip system is a game-changer for me. I use powder 02 along with the buffer.
Great solution if you have an allergy to gel polish. It worked perfectly on my super thin nails. I applied 5 layers of powder.
I am very satisfied!!! My nails are thin by nature, so gel is not for me as I have an allergy. But with this DIP system, I forgot about the allergy, no chipping or peeling, at least on my nails. They come out strong and neat. Highly recommend!!! Special thanks for the delivery!!!
Error in the title. Activator for acrylic and dip powder is not the same thing.
Terrible quality..... Upon opening the bottle, there is an immediate strong odor that affects the eyes and breathing.... I definitely do not recommend it, do not waste your money, this should not be sold at all...
The activator for dip powder works great! It's been two weeks since I got my manicure and there are no chips or cracks at all.
