Ruby Rose Photo-Loving Primer Primer

The primer is amazing. It makes my face feel incredibly smooth and it's really easy to apply foundation on top. I highly recommend it.

I must admit, it's embarrassing, but this is my first face primer at the age of 34. I really liked it, as it made my skin smoother and foundation or powder applied much better.

Before purchasing, I read negative reviews about it being "all silicone" and that "everything rolls off". I don't understand who these "makeup experts" were who wrote those reviews. Let's go step by step:
1) Who said that silicones in cosmetics are bad? Especially in a product like a primer. Silicones are needed to even out the skin texture, help foundation adhere better to the skin, and provide additional makeup longevity. I don't see any reason to panic about silicones.
2) The primer can indeed cause makeup to roll off, but only if you use too much of it. By the way, it's easy to overdo it with this primer because it is transparent and has a very delicate texture. You might feel the need to keep adding more, but you shouldn't do that. Apply the right amount of primer and everything will be fine.

I have been using this primer and it doesn't roll off (I have normal skin). I apply it after my moisturizer has absorbed. I only need a drop or two for my face, it spreads easily and doesn't feel heavy on the skin, although there is a slightly oily texture when applying it with my fingers (which makes sense considering the ingredients). There is no stickiness, greasiness, or dryness. The skin feels smooth to the touch and pores are less noticeable, and my makeup stays on longer. For this price, I think it's excellent!

P.S. I don't use it every day, so I can't say whether it clogs pores. But it is definitely important to cleanse the skin well after using it.
I also use the same brand's eye primer and I am very satisfied with it too. The eyeshadows don't crease and the colors appear more vibrant.

This is just some kind of nightmare, not a primer!

I will only use it under my foundation (for special occasions), I use BB cream daily with the help of concealer. It's not suitable for everyday use, and it's not necessary! Although, to each their own. I hope my review helped someone. After all, atopic dermatitis is lifelong and incurable, the solution is to find suitable cosmetics. Ruby Rose primer evens out my dry texture, retains moisture, and provides an even tone.

Good primer, no worse than Baby Skin. It is completely silicone-based. Of course, it's not suitable for everyday use as it can clog pores, but it's perfect for special occasions and going out. It effectively blurs pores and foundation applies perfectly on top of it. It smooths out blemishes and redness, making them less noticeable. It also hides dry patches, and the foundation doesn't emphasize them afterwards. I am satisfied, it's a good product for such a low price.

At first, it seemed a bit greasy, but it easily spreads on the skin and only a small amount is needed for the entire face. I was afraid that the foundation would become runny, BUT... that didn't happen. The makeup stays on all day and there is no greasy shine, even though I have problem areas in my T-zone.
