Lime Essential Oil Adverso

Lime essential oil is considered an excellent antiseptic. It is extracted using two main methods: steam distillation or cold pressing of the lime peel. A high-quality product has a light consistency and a pale yellow color, sometimes with a greenish tint. The "Lime" essential oil from the Ukrainian brand "Adverso" is rightfully regarded as a high-quality product and has earned its place in the fields of cosmetology, medicine, and aromatherapy.

This aromatic oil has excellent toning properties and has a positive effect on the nervous system. It is effective for asthma, bronchitis, colds, throat infections, and gum inflammation. It eliminates headaches. Moreover, the product has proven itself as a natural antiseptic. Lime essential oil dries up pustular inflammations, acne, and boils. It is recommended for treating skin cracks, cellulite, varicose veins, and hemorrhoids, and for caring for nails and hair. The scent of lime oil effectively repels insects and fills the room with a pleasant aroma.

Ways to use:

For massage: take 7-9 drops of lime oil for every 20 mg of base. An invigorating morning massage is also done with an aromatic mixture of 2 drops of lime oil, 1 drop of geranium, and a tablespoon of almond oil.
For baths: dissolve 10 drops of lime oil in a base (for example, sea salt).
For aroma lamps: use no more than 6 drops of lime oil.
For gum applications: combine wheat germ oil (or rosehip oil) 10 ml with 5 drops of lime oil.
For rinses: use 2-3 drops of oil for every 250 ml of water.
To uplift mood: combine grapefruit oils (3 drops), vanilla (3 drops), and 6 drops of lime oil.
For disinfecting applications (for burns, insect bites, cuts, ulcers): take 10 drops of lime oil with 50 ml of avocado oil.
To heal elbow cracks: mix sandalwood and rosewood oils (5 drops each) with 10 drops of lime oil and 50 ml of avocado oil.
