It has a medium density, transparent-yellow color, lathers very well, cleanses and rinses off easily. It doesn't dry out the skin or leave a film.
I especially like that it doesn't have any foreign soap smell, which I often encountered in natural gels. It smells like a combination of cocoa butter and coconut, a very sweet caramel scent, not exactly to my taste, but pleasant.
