I bought this product based on the recommendation of a colorist and I was very disappointed. It really dries out my hair (I have highlights and even the Loreal shampoo from the supermarket removes them better and doesn't dry out my hair like this one does). It also makes my scalp oilier and it causes itching. It just doesn't work for me.
The shampoo lathers well and rinses off nicely. It has a scent similar to laundry detergent with fabric softener, and it is possible to make it a bit more fragrant and softer, but it's fine as it is. I purchased it based on reviews, and the fact that it doesn't have a strong smell played a big role in my decision to buy it. However, if I were to rate the scent on a scale of 1 to 5, I would give it a 3.5 in terms of intensity. I will continue testing it to see how well it preserves color. Expertico - love at first sight! I have been using only this brand's shampoos, conditioners, and masks for 5 years now. With hair below my shoulders, one set lasts me for 11 months. I only change the series each time. Now, my son also uses the men's line - shampoo plus conditioner, and he is also very satisfied. I have also converted all my friends to this brand.
This is one of those cases where quantity is prioritized over quality. It is not suitable at all for blondes; the hair becomes fluffy like a dandelion and gets easily static. It is essential to use a conditioner or hair mask alongside it.
I have been using this product for over 5 years. Out of curiosity, I have tried different alternatives. With other shampoos, my hair either becomes greasy, or dandruff appears, or my hair becomes extremely dry. I even use it without conditioner. In five years, my colored hair has grown out to its natural state, but I still continue to use it and don't want to switch. The large bottle lasts a very long time, even for long hair. It turns out to be much cheaper than store-bought options.
I highly recommend it. The fragrance is very pleasant and my hair has become much softer.
