These pencils are terrible, hard as rocks in autumn.

The pencil is reasonably soft and easy to apply. It stays on well when used with the NYX eyeshadow base. I'm not sure how it would perform without it. I am ordering it again because I don't have an allergic reaction to it.

I purchased three pencils. I use all of them and I am satisfied with all of them. The 201 number is black, the 202 is a taupe color (dark gray, almost black, with hints of cool brown), and the 204 is chocolate (a cool dark brown).
