I really like this serum. However, it is clear that when using retinol, it is necessary to have at least a basic understanding of how it works. Since this one has a 1% concentration, I use it 1-3 times a week, starting with once a week and gradually increasing to 3 times after a few weeks. My skin is thin, so I can't use it more frequently because my skin doesn't have enough time to recover. Overall, I don't recommend using it for those who expect miracles and don't want to follow the rules of using retinol. I bought a new bottle this autumn, and the previous one lasted me about six months.
This is truly an amazing product. I have been treating my skin for many years and have tried numerous products. But after using Jole's products, especially this retinol, for just a month, I can honestly say that it can bring your skin to an ideal condition.
This serum is the best thing that has ever happened to me! The results are noticeable almost after the first use. It works well on acne marks. It's best to start with a low percentage of retinol so that the skin can adapt better. It does dry out my skin a bit and there is some peeling in the nose area.
Very cool product! Visible results - the next day. Of course, it doesn't completely remove overnight acne marks, but it significantly lightens them.
I have been using the serum for a couple of months now. I gradually introduced it into my evening skincare routine. There have been no redness or skin peeling. I'm not sure if it's such an ineffective product or, on the contrary, the additional caring elements help the retinol to be well tolerated. I haven't seen any significant changes yet, but I guess more time needs to pass for me to see the benefits.
I gradually came across this retinol. I started with the post-acne retinol from this company, and then switched to the 0.5 retinol. I never experienced severe redness or excessive peeling. My skin gradually adjusted, following the instructions strictly. Now, I consistently use R10 and my skin looks great. Many people ask me how I achieved such well-groomed skin. Of course, it's a comprehensive approach, and besides retinol, there are many other products that need to be used. This is my first retinol, I haven't tried any others and I don't want to; I love it very much.
The serum is excellent, but only half of the bottle was received, even though everything was sealed. I don't think the makeup is related to this.
This serum is very effective, I have been using it with breaks for almost a year and there are visible results. Particularly, it works well on expression lines. Previously, when I smiled, they were visible for a long time, especially in the evening. Now, deep wrinkles are only visible when I smile, and they disappear when I stop. It really looks like nothing has been injected there, and the skin on my entire face has become firmer! I also use the brand's lamellar cream. When I start a retinol course, I use it twice a week, and once I have already introduced retinol, I use it a couple of times a week. I haven't experienced any irritation from the retinol.
I haven't noticed any changes so far.
It is too early to speak about the results after using it, but the consistency is completely unsuitable for this format! It is extremely difficult to draw the product with a dropper due to its thickness.
The color and density did not bother me, but I think my skin probably needs more retinol in the formula. Overall, the Serum with 1% retinol is a decent product to give retinol a try.
I ordered this serum in hopes of getting rid of breakouts and improving the condition of my skin, as something always happens to it in the spring.
The first thing that I didn't like was that the serum came in almost half of the tube. I won't blame Makeup for this, as nothing spilled and the tube was fully sealed. It's probably how they distribute it in production, or maybe I was just "lucky."
As for the results so far, there's probably no point in talking about them. I haven't been using it for long or frequently, and it's unlikely to last for a long time. There's really not much of it, even though the consistency is thick, and that's sad because it's not exactly budget-friendly.
I use the serum as part of my evening skincare routine several times a week. I have oily skin in my T-zone and occasionally break out. I haven't noticed any significant changes, either positive or negative. However, I still find myself reaching for it, so I give it a rating of 5. I like that my skin feels soft and non-greasy after using the serum. I haven't experienced any flakiness because my skin is already accustomed to acids.
This serum is amazing! It's my first time trying retinol and the results are impressive. My skin has become smoother and has a healthy glow. It also heals wounds and pimples quickly. I have combination skin with enlarged pores and blackheads, and the pores have become slightly less noticeable. I started using it twice a week and gradually increased to once every three days. I also use acids alongside it, but it's not recommended to combine them.
I liked the consistency of this product, it applies smoothly on the skin without feeling sticky and absorbs nicely. The jar lasted exactly one month with daily application. I noticed results, as after a week my skin started to gently peel (as it should) and there was indeed a renewing effect. I purchased this serum to combat acne and breakouts between my eyebrows and on my forehead. The breakouts really disappeared without exaggeration, but unfortunately, the acne did not clear up completely in a month. It requires at least 3-4 months of regular use of retinol. I also got the serum for my mom, who has dry aging skin, and her skin reacted with irritation, but my oily skin did not. My only complaint is about the dispenser, in my personal opinion, a dropper is not suitable for this type of product consistency.
I have serious doubts about the percentage of retinol in this product. My skin always reacts to retinol even in very low concentrations (0.1, which I can only use once a week). But here, the dosage is huge for me. I thought I would apply it only on specific areas, but there is no effect even with a thick layer applied to the entire face every day. The same situation occurs with their serum containing 15% azelaic acid. Nothing happens at all. The percentages indicated are high, but my skin doesn't react and therefore there is no effect either.
I received a sample and it lasted me for 6 uses. I used it for three consecutive days, both in the morning and evening. I have thick, porous skin that is extra oily. The serum has a pleasant texture, absorbs quickly, and does not leave any stickiness. After three days, my skin tone improved and there was significantly less sebum production. I did not experience any negative effects, possibly because my skin is used to various treatments (I have used tretinoin from 0.025 to 0.1). Overall, the serum is great and I am pleasantly surprised that a domestic manufacturer has created such an amazing product.
Retinol really works. My skin is well acquainted with similar products, so I use it every evening. After a week, as expected, there was a slight peeling that went away on its own. The pores became less noticeable and the complexion evened out.
The product has almost no scent. It has a very pleasant, melting consistency that quickly absorbs without leaving any stickiness. The usage is higher than average, so it runs out quickly.
The only downside is the packaging format. The serum's texture is too thick for the dropper. More serum sticks to the dropper than actually goes into it, so you need to be very careful when closing it to avoid soiling the neck of the bottle. It would be much more convenient with a pump.
My first experience with retinol. I knew that my skin doesn't react to anything, no allergic reactions at all, so I went straight for the 1% concentration. And it turned out just like I expected, no irritation or peeling noticed. My skin immediately became noticeably more even in tone. I hope to see the smoothing effect over time as well.
I decided to return to using retinol (my skin has had a 4-month break). Before this serum, I used 0.3 percent, but I had never tried anything as potent as this. I applied it twice a night, every 3 days. My skin started to peel a lot, especially where I had breakouts. However, it's not because of dryness, as the areas where my skin isn't peeling are delicate and not tight. I started reading and trying to understand what's happening, and it seems like it's because of cell turnover acceleration. I'm a bit scared to do any peels right now, and I don't know how to get rid of this flakiness. I haven't noticed any particular sensitivity in my skin. The serum itself is pleasant, odorless, and easy to apply, and it absorbs very quickly.
