The bright and provocative scent of Les Perles d'Orient perfume water will help every member of the fairer sex fully reveal themselves and challenge the world. Just a spray into the air fills you with wild energy and the desire to move forward!
This oriental-chypre masterpiece opens with citrus notes of bergamot, sweet hints of ylang-ylang, and slightly bitter patchouli. The heart of the composition thrills with the intoxicating charm of black orchid and seduces with the cinnamon tones of lotus. The final accords of the perfume stir with the sweet nuances of vanilla and exotic sandalwood, with lingering echoes of balsam, patchouli, and vetiver. With Les Perles d'Orient Orchidee Noire, you are capable of so much more!
I let it settle and the scent is quite good in cool weather with a slight breeze. I can't compare its accuracy to Tom Ford's Orchid, but I believe the original is much better. Expecting more for this price would be biased. However, the previous fragrance Les Perles d'Orient Tabac & Vanille, which I blind-bought for my husband, I really liked on him in hot weather.
The scent is very peculiar. I mean, really strange. I'll let it settle for a while and see if it improves. Right now, it's quite overpowering.
Wonderful little thing. Lighter than Ford's orchid! Not as powerful as its ancestor, but in this case, it's actually a plus!
Unfortunately, I am dissatisfied with the Ford Black Orchid version, Les Perles D'Orient. The spray does not work, as is the case with many perfumes of this brand, so please be careful when receiving the product. However, there is no ambergris, so it can be easily checked. Yes, the MakeUP managers contacted me, but the problem still remains. As for the fragrance itself, it does have a resemblance to the Ford orchid, but only at the beginning of application. Then, the top notes simply fade away, leaving a sweet floral scent. Of course, it is not worth expecting that a perfume ten times cheaper will smell as luxurious as a niche perfume.
