I have combination skin type, and it often needs moisturization in certain areas. The Dr. Jart+ BB cream is good as it effectively covers imperfections and evens out my skin tone. I am satisfied with it. However, I would prefer a cream that provides more moisture because I have dry patches on my skin. It works great for the winter-spring season, but I'm not sure if it will be suitable when I have a tan. I wonder if it will adjust or if I will need to purchase the gold packaging. I see that there are gold and black options on the website, and I would like to know if any of them are more moisturizing. Also, how do they compare in terms of shade to the silver one?
Very cool bb cream! I have combination skin that tends to get oily, and this cream covers it perfectly (I have seasonal psoriasis patches, and it doesn't dry them out). It lasts all day and doesn't give a strong shine like collagen did (which was also fine, but just got boring). I tested it with my friends to see how well it adapts, and even on very pale skin, it looked natural and not like a mask. I set it with Laura Mercier powder or rice powder from Eveline.
I personally love it! The texture is quite thick, but it wears exceptionally well. My skin type is combination.
I really liked the cream! 10 out of 10 points. I recommend it! It really evens out, rejuvenates, and whitens. I bought it with the intention of covering pigmentation spots. It does the job. However, there is one small drawback - it is still a bit too light for me. I have a beige skin tone. But its formula and effect on the skin cover up this flaw. Maybe it adapts to the tone. It stays on the skin all day.
This product is quite expensive, but after trying it, I don't want to go back to others anymore. If all the foundations or BB creams look pink or yellow on you (just like they did on me), you can try this option. The color is neutral and adjusts to your skin tone.
Very cool! They are telling the truth: the coverage is quite dense and dark enough. However, if you apply a small amount on damp skin (after being in the city), it goes on smoothly and blends well. The skin glows and is not as pale after using it.
This foundation is very nice. It is difficult to call it a BB cream, as it provides excellent coverage for concealing imperfections without giving a heavy, mask-like effect on the face. Moreover, it stays in place on the skin unlike other regular BB creams I've tried. The packaging is also great, with a convenient dispenser that dispenses a small amount of product, preventing any mess.
My mom bought this product for herself, but it didn't match her skin tone. It was too light for her natural complexion. So she gave it to me, and it's perfect for my fair skin! I only need half a pump to cover my entire face with a thin layer. It evens out my skin tone, making it porcelain-like, even though I have combination skin with enlarged pores in some areas. Now I don't use foundation, only this BB cream - it's a real game-changer for me. Yes, it's thick, but a small amount is enough to apply on my face. I think it will last me until the end of the year... and maybe even longer.
Everything is great! I have been using it for a very long time. As soon as I discovered it, it has always been on my shelf.
I didn't really like this BB cream. It doesn't sit well on the skin. Misha BB cream is the best for me.
I have combination skin. The BB cream has a wonderful texture and covers imperfections well. It is an excellent product!
I would rate the BB cream at 4/5, but considering the price-quality ratio, it may be even lower. It covers flaws well, but it leaves a shine on the face, although it is a "healthy" glow, it increases over time. In my opinion, it is quite thick and dense, and I apply it with my hands. It tends to cake up and needs to be blended well.
The biggest downside is the feeling of having a mask on the face. I have the desire to wash it off as soon as possible. I can't say that it is very noticeable on the face, it applies well, but it causes discomfort. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for summer.
This is currently my favorite product. It effectively covers flaws, does not enlarge pores, and has SPF. I used to use the Seventeen foundation, but I wanted a lighter texture without the feeling of wearing a mask on my face. I tried the Locean CC cream - it was very shiny, then the Missha BB cream in shade 23 - it seemed like my best find until I bought this Dr. Jart. It is more expensive, but it applies perfectly, hides freckles and redness, and gives the skin a radiant glow without being greasy. Special thanks to Make Up for the samples, I am discovering new brands.
I really liked it!! It mattifies well and the color suits everyone. I also like the packaging. It's definitely worth the money.
I didn't like it. I agree with the review below by Natalia, it sits on mature skin like a mask, emphasizing creases, fine lines, and pores. It makes you want to wash it off quickly, it really is a mask. It is very noticeable on the face. In short, I thought I had found my perfect BB cream, but no. It is definitely not worth the money... I will keep searching.
To me, this product seems more like a foundation than a BB cream. If you have dry skin, it is essential to moisturize before applying it. It gives a beautiful natural finish, and it lasts a long time on my skin. I have fair skin, and I usually go for shade 21 in popular BB creams, but this tone is shade 23.
Finding the right foundation is my struggle. If Makeup gave out awards for reviews, I would definitely win the grand prize. I write reviews for every purchase I make because I think it might help someone in their choice.
I buy foundation twice a month. Rarely does anything actually work, and if it does, it only lasts a couple of months before the shade starts acting up: oxidizing, sliding off, smelling, not setting, etc.
First, I will describe my skin and why I have to buy foundation so frequently, and then I will describe the BB dr.Jart+ silver itself.
I have dry skin with active facial expressions. Freckles, a pigmented (not too dark) spot above my lip, and a wrinkle (or rather a pocket) on my forehead, as well as crow's feet (or rather ostrich feet). To make things more interesting, I also have wide pores on my cheeks (not craters, but noticeable). And, of course, post-acne marks in the form of red dots, bumps, and scars.
That's why I always look for a foundation that provides enough coverage but doesn't feel like a mask (since I also have correctors and concealers in my arsenal). It should not smudge, slide off, have a strong fragrance (oh, I forgot to mention that I'm allergic). I want a foundation that doesn't accentuate wrinkles and pores, lasts well, and doesn't make my skin look shiny.
The second challenge in choosing a foundation is the shade. I am that pale friend who always hears:
- "Natasha, are you sick?"
- "No, this is my natural skin tone!"
I naturally have thick black eyebrows and hair (like a raven), and my skin is very fair.
I don't like Korean skincare (our skin types differ, and I often get subcutaneous pimples from Korean skincare products), but I like Korean foundations and BB creams because of their gray undertones. In many brands, my shade is #13 (blue collagen #13 is too dark for me, Missha "Perfect Coverage" #21 is also dark. These shades don't adjust to my skin tone).
For European brands, I am porcelain, Estee Lauder 1N0, other Europeans have shades with a zero or 01, Lancôme 005, and Dior and L'Oreal's 1N are often too dark for me as they have a yellow undertone. Vichy Lifting 15 Opal is also too dark for me in the autumn.
Now, let's talk about the BB jart itself.
1.) The packaging is beautiful and the design is similar to American cosmetics like Fenty, IT, or Bobbi. The tube itself is made of hard plastic, sturdy. The dispenser is also made of plastic and works well.
2.) The cream is thick, provides good coverage, and has a radiant finish. It is noticeable on the face and covers freckles and blue marks. The longevity is not impressive, as it starts to get shinier over time. The finish is closer to dewy, but not as wet as, for example, Enough Colagen.
By the way, the BB Jart is very similar in properties to Missha Perfect Coverage (the classic version, not the anti-aging one), just denser and more noticeable.
3.) The shade of dr.Jart+ silver is slightly darker for me, it would have been perfect if it was half a shade lighter, but I have to touch up my neck. Also, on my skin, this BB cream gives a slightly pinkish hue, although in the tube it looks beige.
4.) It leaves marks on the phone and clothes, just like Missha Perfect Coverage. I actually think they are the same BB cream, just with different packaging and a slightly thicker formula.
In conclusion:
It stains clothes and the price is too high.
It is suitable for dry skin.
I wouldn't repurchase it because for this price, I can get Smashbox or Bobbi Brown on sale (Bobbi has pale shades) or buy two Missha BB creams.
I am attaching swatch photos.
1.) Maybelline Superstay Concealer in shade 0.5 Ivory (even for me, it's light).
2.) Paese Long Cover, classic version, shade 01N porcelain (good coverage, lightweight, perfect shade for me, but uncomfortable to wear, feels heavy on the skin, and stains clothes).
3.) Missha BB #23 Perfect Coverage (classic version, not anti-aging).
4.) Vichy Lifting Flexiteint #15 Tres Clair, Opal. Lightweight, illuminating with a beautiful finish, but it oxidizes heavily. This is the lightest shade in the range.
5.) Dr.Jart+ Rejuvenating BB Silver Label+. It is available in one shade.
It provides good coverage and adjusts to match the skin tone. The only downside is that it emphasizes skin flakiness.
I have previously used BB cream from Misha, and it was not bad. However, I like this one much more. Although my skin tends to be oily, I apply translucent powder to mattify it. I highly recommend it!
I had to adapt to it a little bit, but the BB cream is wonderful. It evens out the skin tone nicely, provides excellent coverage, and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I apply it with a sponge, it spreads beautifully and quickly adjusts to match my skin tone. Throughout the day, it may become slightly shiny without powder, but the shine is not greasy. I really liked the BB cream. There is no mask-like feeling on the face, it is very lightweight, but provides sufficient coverage without clogging the pores or emphasizing them. It doesn't smudge throughout the day, and the skin looks beautiful even without powder. I will definitely order it again.
I have dry skin, so this product is too heavy for me. I apply a small amount, using both a brush and my fingers. The shade really adjusts to my skin tone, but the cream is too visible on the face. Especially if you have wrinkles, it will definitely emphasize them.
Not suitable for oily skin!!!! It doesn't stay in place, it slides off!!! This BB cream would be perfect for dry skin!! But for my problematic skin, it was torture.
I understood one thing: it's better to apply it with a damp sponge.
I have oily aging skin and I regularly use Misha Signature BB cream in shade 23. This one appears similar upon application, slightly lighter, closer to shade 21, but it doesn't sit well on my skin and tends to slide off. I conclude that Misha is better and more affordable!
I purchased this product based on the recommendation of a makeup artist. Overall, it suits my fair skin, but it doesn't last throughout the day. I apply it with a sponge, as when applied with hands, it doesn't go on evenly. I appreciate the presence of SPF and the overall quality of the product.
I am also disappointed with this purchase. The foundation makes my combination skin very shiny and quickly disappears from my face. It barely lasts throughout the workday. The shade does adapt, but it has a strange white-earthy tone. This product is only suitable for dry skin, especially during winter.
The color doesn't suit me, as I have fair skin. It lacks any lasting power whatsoever. I regret buying it, it's utterly disappointing. It's a shame to throw it away, so I've decided to keep it for the winter, maybe a miracle will happen.
I will write a review so that no one else falls for the 1100 UAH price. Firstly, this product is only suitable for fair-skinned girls. Secondly, it is meant for dry skin. Thirdly, it does not apply evenly. It is definitely not worth the money! I bought it and regretted it.
The quality of this product is good, but it is not suitable for dark or tanned skin. I took a risk by purchasing it, as I would have preferred a slightly darker shade.
What didn't work for me?! I've wanted it for a long time... and I was disappointed. My skin looks greasy after 2 hours, even though my skin type is normal, leaning towards dry. And this is even with setting powder and no heat. For such a price, I could have purchased a good foundation instead.
