For external use, apply the oil to clean, dry skin on the face and body. After absorption, gently blot the skin with a tissue. When using coconut oil for hair: apply the oil to the ends. As a mask, apply it to the entire length of the hair a few hours before washing and massage lightly into the scalp. For oral rinsing: melt 1-2 tablespoons of oil until it becomes liquid. You can do this by holding the container with the oil under hot running water for a couple of minutes. Take the melted oil into your mouth. Swish the oil through your teeth for 10-20 minutes, rinsing. Do not swallow. After 10-20 minutes, spit out the oil. Thoroughly rinse your mouth with warm water.
