This product is really cool. I don't have major skin issues, only blackheads and occasional inflammatory elements if I don't take care of them properly. However, if I overdo it, I get post-acne. This peeling helps to calm down, bring impurities to the surface, or promote "maturation," as well as lighten spots after just one use.
I haven't used acids before, but this product didn't cause any negative reaction. I leave it on for 1-1.30 minutes and then rinse it off with a cloth. I apply it only on specific areas of the skin with imperfections.
The first minute after applying it feels like putting your face in a hot oven. (I don't know how it feels, but I imagine it would be similar).
On the 5th use, it starts to burn (it didn't happen at first). I even started feeling sick and tasted alcohol in my mouth, as if I had swallowed 30 grams of vodka. It's unbelievable how much alcohol there is in it, it starts to evaporate and you breathe it in. Alcohol is listed last in the ingredients, but it feels like it's 90% of the product.
After a month, it became cloudy. It was clear at first, but now it's white and there are always crystals forming on the dropper.
There's definitely something wrong with it. I know acids well, and 10% azelaic acid should not cause burning. Either the product has an unstable formula or it's just alcohol and nothing else. Maybe the burning sensation is caused by salicylic acid.
As for the effect, there's nothing. I used it 6-7 times (every week, for a month and a half) and nothing. At first, the skin feels smooth and tight, but it doesn't last. And it really dries out the skin, intense moisturizing is necessary.
I bought it for 380 UAH, now it's 500 UAH, and I would never pay that much for it.
I use it approximately once a month since I rarely have breakouts on my skin, but with this thing, pimples don't appear at all anymore. I consider it amazing.
I have noticed that stains from sewing disappear faster with this product.
I recommend it to those who have constant breakouts. I saw results immediately. Inflammation on my face went down. After the second time (after a week), some spots from old pimples disappeared. I also apply it locally, if a breakout appears, I apply it 2-3 times a day on the affected area. It's a great product, but it stings so much that tears roll down. But! You can endure it!
I give a high rating to this exfoliating product because it is truly amazing! I was looking for a more affordable alternative to the salicylic peel from home peel (which, by the way, constantly evaporated due to its poor cap).
The peeling really works.
Due to stress and changes in my diet, I developed subcutaneous rashes all over my face - on my cheeks, on my forehead, in the chin area. Then dark scars and spots appeared. New rashes were forming in place of the old ones. At that time, I couldn't afford to go to a cosmetologist, so I tried this peeling.
Since my skin is used to acids, I felt a reaction (my face turned red, it tingled), but it was bearable.
And I must say, this product got rid of all my rashes, made my skin tone much more even, and my skin itself became more elastic. A truly effective peeling for a reasonable price.
Now I want to try other products from this line, and it would be great if the manufacturer released trial versions or small introductory sets. Because your products are definitely worth attention.
The product contains alcohol, which is a downside. There are many peels without alcohol available at a similar price. It stings, obviously. I left it on for 7 minutes, but it didn't cause any skin peeling, and I'm not sure what to do. I will try applying it for 15-20 minutes next time and will write about the results.
I had a cleaning done and applied a peel because my skin is used to peels, so I experienced a slight tingling and gentle warmth. The areas where the pimples were removed became lighter - the peel is effective, and the next day my skin didn't even get oily overnight. The pores are reduced, and the skin is smooth. The skin feels tight, so there might be some peeling.
Horrible! After the first use, I experienced terrible irritation! My entire face was red for three days. It's an alcohol-based peel. It has a very strong odor and stings! Nightmare!!
I will say right away that this peel is strong, but effective. I understand that it is due to the high content of salicylic acid. I have problematic, oily skin, and in the summer it's a disaster because I wear foundation every day. I have done it twice so far. The first time, my cheeks got a bit burnt, but I wasn't particularly mindful of the time. In the morning, my skin was not as dull and oily, it tightened and narrowed the pores, and the under-the-skin bumps were less painful. Within a couple of days, my skin started to peel, and there were fewer new breakouts. After a week, I did it again for 5 minutes with 2 layers. Now my skin is noticeably better, slightly more even and brighter, and there are no painful pimples. I recommend trying it for those with problematic skin.
This is the result after using it.
I purchased this exfoliating scrub back in the summer. At that time, it seemed too harsh for me, even though I have thick skin that is prone to acne. However, I recently decided to give it another try. During the holidays, my skin had deteriorated significantly: breakouts, enlarged pores, fluctuations between oily and dry. Currently, I have done 3 peeling procedures and have also started a diet. The results are noticeable, with fewer breakouts and clearer pores. I am especially pleased that my skin tone and texture have evened out, and my foundation applies better. I highly recommend it for anyone with problematic skin.
