The powder seems okay at first, but it doesn't keep my face matte for very long. Also, the lid broke after just a month, so I wouldn't recommend buying it.
I don't like powders with shades, so for me, this transparent one is the perfect option. It can lighten the skin (I personally like the effect), and it suits my combination skin. Even after intense workouts, my T-zone only slightly shimmers, while mainly maintaining its matte finish. It doesn't dry out the skin. The packaging is flimsy, but I don't carry it with me, so it's not critical for me. After 1.5 months, the lid is still in place. I like that the packaging is transparent. It will last for a long time. Overall, I am satisfied and will test its durability in the summer.
I have never seen such a terrible powder before. It even crumbles upon contact with a brush.

It mattifies for a maximum of one hour, and if used on top of SPF, even less time. After some time, it actually accentuates wrinkles instead of hiding them. Without this powder, wrinkles are less visible, although upon application, it seems like everything is fine and there is no additional emphasis. I have combination skin without breakouts.
The previous review was also mine, and I wanted to add that it blends quite well if the texture is not greasy or oily. It is non-greasy. However, I noticed a few drawbacks. It caused my skin to peel (attached a photo). Maybe if you only wear concealer and powder, it will be a good choice. Also, just for reference, the foundation is moisturizing.
This powder is great for its price, as it provides decent coverage and sets well. However, it doesn't last very long, especially on oily skin. It might be more suitable for use in winter. I used it on my oily and problematic skin, and currently, it's okay with occasional breakouts and minor issues. It does tend to have some fallout. Overall, I am satisfied.

I am finishing this powder and decided to leave a review. I didn't expect to get such a successful product for this price. It doesn't whiten, doesn't gather in wrinkles (unlike almost all other powders in my arsenal), and mattifies the face excellently and for a long time.
As for the downsides: for the first two weeks, it was difficult to open the powder, the clasp was very tight. Then it became normal. And the lack of a mirror is also a downside for me, so I won't repurchase this powder and will order another one that is 30 UAH more expensive.
The product is not bad, but the quality of the packaging leaves much to be desired. The case cracked within a week of use, considering that the powder was stored on the table, meaning there was no external mechanical impact. After three weeks, the lid fell off and the attachment crumbled. It may be related to the fact that the powder I bought in June 2020 is about to expire (manufactured in early 2018). It is unpleasant that now I cannot take the compact product with me on vacation.

I love this powder! I purchased it based on the recommendations of NYX HD makeup artists. Unlike the NYX HD powder, which made my combination skin oily after a couple of hours, this Essence powder is my second favorite and gives a fantastic effect in flash photography. It also sets my makeup well for the entire day!

The face powder looks like flour and whitens excessively. It looks very strange on olive-toned skin, and also emphasizes flakiness and imperfections.
The powder is visible on the skin and provides coverage like a mask, so it should be applied carefully. It works great for winter, but it's not recommended for summer, especially when the skin tans and becomes darker.
The powder does a wonderful job. It mattifies excellently and maintains its effect on my combination skin until evening. It doesn't make me look pale, even though I have a tan, and it adjusts to my skin tone.

I am satisfied with the powder. The effect lasts for several hours (on oily-prone skin). It doesn't leave any white marks. Since this is my first setting powder and I have nothing to compare it to yet, I give it a 5.
So far, this translucent powder is perfect for me. It works really well for the baking technique (where you apply a lot of powder to specific areas, leave it for a couple of minutes, and then lightly brush it off), leaving your skin silky smooth and poreless.

I am satisfied with this powder. I have fair, dry skin, but throughout the day, shine appears that is caused by my morning moisturizer. This powder solves the problem, and by the end of the day, the shine is barely noticeable. The powder is transparent, but immediately after application, you can see a very fine white veil, which then blends with the skin color.
