Plug in the slightly warm manicure device as soon as the procedure begins. Fill the cup halfway with Vitalcreme lotion (item no. 146057). Prepare your workspace and clean the equipment using the cleansing spray (item no. 146010*). Do the same for your hands and your client's hands after they have been washed and are clean. Remove nail polish with special nail wipes (item no. 155410*) soaked in a gentle, acetone-free nail polish remover (item no. 120111*). You can also use a correcting pencil (item no. 120115*) for precise polish removal. Start with the nails on one hand.
File them with a coarse file that has fine or medium grit. Never move the file back and forth as this weakens the nail. Remove any rough edges by filing under the free edge of the nail. Use a multi-sided buffer to smooth and shine the surface of the nails. Finish your work with a spritz of Cleanse spray, then moisturize the prepared hand with warm Vitalcreme.
Switch to the second hand and repeat the steps of filing, removing rough edges, and polishing. Soak the second hand while working on the first. Take the first hand, which is still covered in Vitalcreme, and shape it. Use a pumice file (item no. 122220*) or, in more challenging cases, a grinding machine with a pumice tip to remove ridges. Reapply Vitalcreme as needed to avoid scratching the nail surface. Clean the nail edge with the cleansing spray. Repeat the same steps on the second hand.
Clean under the nails with a boxwood stick. Degrease the nails with a super degreaser (item no. 146014*). Apply a base coat (item no. 121003*), hardener (item no. 121004*), or calcium gel (item no. 121037*). Apply two layers of nail polish, then a protective top coat (item no. 120005*), and finish with a quick-dry accelerator (item no. 121036*).
