Using a toner is one of the steps in daily home care routines. This product effectively combats early signs of aging and strengthens the natural protective barrier. Cosmetologists and dermatologists from the Ukrainian brand Cocos have specifically created this product for those with oily and problematic skin. The ingredients destroy Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, which trigger acne outbreaks, and decrease the activity of bacterial lipases.
Features of the Cocos toner with salicylic acid and sage hydrolate:
- Salicylic acid eliminates breakouts, prevents the proliferation of pathogenic microflora, gently exfoliates, and removes the dead skin layer;
- Sage hydrolate has calming and healing properties, retains the necessary amount of moisture in the cells, and prevents redness;
- Active components stimulate regeneration, repair damaged areas, and normalize the hydrolipidic balance;
- With regular use, the skin will become soft, firm, elastic, and the unattractive oily sheen will disappear.How to use: Shake the bottle before use. Moisten a cotton pad and apply the toner to cleansed facial skin. Use as a standalone product or apply over your usual day or night cream.

It worked really well for my oily skin with black spots. Now, the face wash with salicylic acid (also from Cocos) + this toner is my daily evening skincare routine. When I started using these products, I finally got rid of blackheads. The smell is indeed strange, but the effect is worth enduring.
The tonic is good, but the scent is very repulsive; it reminds me of marinade.
Great toner! And the most important thing is that it's alcohol-free, which is crucial for oily skin with enlarged pores and freckles. The reason it works so well is that it truly reduces sebum production, which becomes visible after a couple of weeks of use. It evens out the complexion and reduces inflammation. It's a pity that I'm currently abroad and can't buy it.
The smell is unpleasant and slightly sticky, but other than that, there is nothing special about it.
Cool tonic. The scent is really nice and quickly dissipates. With the help of this product, I got rid of breakouts and my skin tone became more even. It doesn't dry out the skin.
Terrible! Money wasted. The smell is not pleasant and it caused my entire face to break out. Definitely NOT recommended!
The smell is unpleasant. The effect is contradictory - since I started using it, my breakouts have worsened and it doesn't heal anything.
This product did not work for me or my sister. We both experienced small rashes and subcutaneous pimples. Our skin type is combination. It was unexpected to develop a pimply face at the age of 35. We should have paid attention to similar comments from other girls.
The tonic cleanses pretty well, but it lacks moisturizing properties. The smell is simply terrible. The manufacturer should do something about it, perhaps add lavender or some other natural fragrance. I often use hydrosols and I'm accustomed to the scents of natural herbs. However, this tonic is the first one to evoke such negative reactions to its smell.
This product does nothing for my skin, except for removing traces of dust from the street. It has a tea scent. However, my friend immediately experienced a stinging sensation, redness, and the appearance of pimples. She washed it off three minutes after application, just to be safe. Overall, this toner is strange.
I tried it for the first time, relying on positive reviews, but I didn't like it at all. After the very first use, I experienced severe breakouts on my face. I do not recommend it.
A great option for combination skin. The scent doesn't bother at all, as it doesn't linger on the skin. Perhaps people are just accustomed to fragrances in cosmetics, hence such a reaction.
The toner is great, and I really love its composition. However, the scent is something else! It reminds me of a unique blend of pickle brine and soy sauce, with a twist ;)
I don't feel any tingling sensation, but the smell is not very pleasant, quite animalistic actually. However, it quickly dissipates, especially after applying the cream, which has its own fragrance.
I like the ingredients and the fact that "cocos" does not test their products on animals. Plus, the price for this volume is great.
Most likely, I will continue to purchase it. If it becomes available, I might try another toner from the same brand.
It has a very unpleasant smell and stings the face. However, I liked the effect it had.
The toner is amazing! It should be used after a two-step cleansing and before moisturizing. You only need a small amount on a cotton pad and let it dry after application. If used correctly, the effect will be very good! As for the smell, don't make me laugh, who does it stink for? The scent is like herbal infusion, nothing more. You quickly get used to it.
This product is very potent for sensitive skin - it causes redness and stinging on the face. That's why I don't apply it on my face. Instead, I use it on my neck and décolleté area - and in just one and a half weeks, it has reduced my pigmentation spots. I really liked it.
I'm buying my second bottle and I really like this tonic. It has an excellent formula! It works amazingly well for oily and acne-prone skin. It also effectively cleanses the pores, I completely forgot what clogged pores even meant!
Wonderful tonic! I never would have thought that for such a reasonable price, one could purchase a genuinely effective and functional product. Thank you!
Not a bad tonic. I use it both before applying makeup and at night. However, the smell... it's absolutely awful... at least for me.
I really liked the effect and properties of this tonic, and the unpleasant smell quickly disappears. I use it in the evening. My son said it smells like tea infusion. For me, the most important thing is that it has good ingredients and a pleasant price!
The tonic is just like any other tonic, but the smell coming from it is simply terrible! It's horrifying.
The scent is definitely subjective, thanks to the sage. But that's a matter of personal taste. It truly does not dry out the skin due to the absence of alcohol. When used regularly, it prevents inflammation, truly antibacterial. It slightly tingles the skin, probably because of the salicylic acid at work. It has decent exfoliating properties. Remember to shake before use!
The skin itches a lot after use. There are no magical results from using it, as described.
Excellent tonic! I don't know why some people didn't like the scent, but to me it reminds me of chamomile tea with honey. Not freshly brewed, but rather the kind that has steeped for a few hours. It's not unpleasant at all, but rather a well-infused aroma. Moreover, the scent doesn't linger on the skin.
I replaced the dispenser with a more convenient one for me. Lately, I have been in a situation where I come across great products, but they all have terrible dispensers. However, it does soothe inflammation well (I had a couple of pimples during this time period). By the way, usually my skin reacts with breakouts to new products, but this time everything went smoothly. No excess oiliness or shine. The scent is of medicinal herbs. Overall, I have been using various infusions for my skin for a long time, so I was prepared for such an aroma in advance. It's not too unpleasant and quickly disappears from the skin. I think, for the sake of good results, which it truly delivers, one can endure 5 minutes. I will repurchase it again, but I can only recommend it to those with problematic or oily skin. I can't imagine how the tonic will perform on dry skin. Thanks to makeup.com for the delivery, and a special thanks to those who seal all the lids.
I really liked the toner. It has a pleasant honey scent.
Girls, this product is amazing! It truly eliminates breakouts and delays the appearance of oily shine. The scent is strange, but given the effectiveness, it's forgivable. I never believed in cheap Ukrainian cosmetics, but this toner has been a savior. I usually don't suffer from pimples, but this time I used the toner to treat severe breakouts caused by medication and unsuccessful creams. It's super effective, and you can notice its action right away. I highly recommend it.
I have been using this tonic for almost 3 weeks and I am very satisfied with it. I will definitely order more. In a fairly short period of time, it has helped me get rid of breakouts and partially reduce blackheads. I use it together with the cleansing gel for oily skin. Initially, the scent of the tonic seemed unrealistically unpleasant to me, as I mentioned in my previous review. However, after almost 3 weeks of use, I have even become accustomed to this smell. Perhaps it has faded, but now it smells like some kind of tea. Maybe it depends on the batch, as I read reviews from girls who initially liked the scent. In any case, it no longer causes any negative sensations for me. I highly recommend it! I will definitely buy something else from this brand.
I really liked the smell. It reminds me of herbal tea with honey, probably because I'm used to natural cosmetics. The price-quality ratio is very advantageous, and it comes in a large container. I feel pleasant sensations after applying it, without any stickiness or tightness (I have problematic skin prone to breakouts). I wouldn't be surprised if the manufacturer raises the price of the product later on. I also ordered the salicylic peel from this series, and I liked everything. I'm glad I came across this brand. I recommend it.
I have oily-sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts. I really liked this toner! There were no breakouts, irritations, or redness after using it. I'm thrilled!
Of course, it does sting a bit when it gets near the eyes due to the acids, and it's unclear why it should be applied there in the first place.
As for the scent, it reminds me of regular strong tea, maybe with a hint of herbs. Moreover, it disappears as soon as the toner dries.
The usage can be seen in the photo, I've been using it for 10 days, twice a day, after cleansing.
The cocos brand has pleasantly surprised me, I will definitely try something else from them.
The tweezers are not comfortable to use, as they pinch and cause discomfort.
The smell is very unpleasant, even though I usually don't pay attention to such things.
For some reason, it makes my skin even oilier.
I use tea tree oil for a deeper cleansing, but this toner doesn't calm my skin and actually stings even more.
This toner is amazing, I wasn't expecting much since I previously tried two products from the Cocos brand that I didn't like at all. I was searching for a toner with BHA acids and came across this one based on reviews. The only downside is the specific smell, but overall it is a decent product.
I spent a long time carefully choosing a toner based on the description, ingredients, and reviews. This particular toner caught my attention with its description, but I was hesitant because of the one and only review, as I am very sensitive to smells. Nevertheless, I decided to go ahead and order it, and I was not disappointed. To those who have doubts like me because of the previous review, do not hesitate, buy it and try it, because the scent turned out to be...just a regular honey scent! Not strong or overpowering, but just like opening a jar of honey and inhaling the aroma right from the top. I have come across similar scents in many natural toners. I will write about its effectiveness on the skin later, once I have used it regularly for some time, but for now, I really wanted to say that the scent of this product is more than satisfactory.
I couldn't use it. The smell is repulsive, to the point of making me nauseous. I can't bring myself to even open it again.
