1. Begin by preparing the nail surface. Shape the nails using either a hardware or trim manicure and thoroughly clean off any dust. Use a manicure set or a nail drill for this step.
2. Buff the nail surface to remove the top layer.
3. Apply a primer to the nails to ensure better adhesion of the base coat to the natural nail. After the primer dries (approximately 1 minute), apply a thin layer of the base coat. Cure the nails in a UV lamp (36W) for 2 minutes or in an LED lamp for 30-60 seconds.
4. Apply the gel polish in your desired colour. Depending on the opacity, use one or two thin layers. Cure each layer in the lamp to avoid deformation. For the final layer, do not cure it in the lamp.
5. Finish by applying acrylic powder over the uncured gel polish. Cure the nails in the gel polish curing lamp. Use a nail brush to remove any excess acrylic powder. Finally, remove the sticky layer with a specialized liquid.
