The tan from this product looks beautiful for the first 1 or 2 days, but that's about it. It really dries out the skin and doesn't last for even 5 days. It starts to fade in patches by the 2nd or 3rd day. It also leaves stains on clothes and bedding after application, although the scent is present, it's not as strong compared to many other self-tanners.
The self-tanner is great, the only downside is that it applied very lightly on the hands and couldn't be washed off with either a cleanser or a cloth. It applied perfectly on the body. The scent from the body on the first day after use was like a seasoning for chicken :) but if you apply a lotion or cream it will be fine.
I tried using self-tanner for the first time. My skin is fair, but I wanted a slight tan considering it's summer. I chose a light shade and applied it with a special mitt. The result was fantastic - a very natural color and a nice tone, as if I had spent a week at the beach with my skin. There were no streaks, it faded evenly, and my skin just gradually became lighter. I highly recommend it.
