Ambiguous, noble, and highly contrasting, the Malatesta fragrance celebrates the grandeur of an Italian noble family, revealing its most intimate secrets. Its graceful floral and oriental notes embody the daring, cunning, and heroism of the legendary clan, narrating its stories and passions that unfold within the walls of medieval palaces.
The scent opens with expressive citrus chords of orange and mandarin, surrounded by the powdery shades of sensual musk. The luxurious heart, filled with nuances of honeyed jasmine, gentle lavender, and precious animalistic leather, seduces and beckons to follow the call of the soul. In conclusion, you will enjoy the tenderness of sweet vanilla, surrounded by notes of dry wood, sharp pepper, and smoky sensations.
I bought a branded sample, having read enthusiastic reviews claiming it to be a masterpiece. Well... the translation of the name is 'silly, stubborn', but I feel like translating it as 'bad taste'. Because it smells like boiled carrots spread out on a sheet of paper. I tested it in different ways, trying to catch a whiff of something leathery... Nope. And the longevity is not remarkable, despite the advertised perfumes. Overall, it's not what it claims to be.
