Jean-Paul Guerlain held a deep affection for the scent of roses and, as a tribute to this noble flower, he crafted a perfume composition that, despite its rich and diverse ingredients, is considered to be the finest rose fragrance. The aroma of Nahema is like a cloud of disparate particles floating in the air, which, as if by the wave of a magic wand, align into a graceful, elegant melody.

The top notes feature light scents of peach, aldehydes, bergamot, rose, and green notes. The floral heart blooms with bright hues of lilac, jasmine, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, and a solo performance by the Bulgarian rose. The base notes include woody scents of sandalwood and vetiver, softened by sweet notes of passion fruit and vanilla.
