It doesn't foam well, resulting in a high consumption. It has a scent that not everyone will like. However, it leaves the hair silky, soft, and shiny, as if you just came out of a salon, with a slight tint.
I didn't want it to foam at all, so it seems like it should be used after regular shampoo for a second lathering. It has a high consumption rate. I didn't notice any particular color after the first use. There is practically no scent.
I have used this shampoo twice. Previously, I ordered Joanne shampoo for red and ginger shades - the shampoo and foam themselves were a warm red color, and even after the first use, my hair had a nice shade. However, this shampoo is almost chocolate color, but the foam is white, and I didn't notice any coloring effect. It does not dry out the hair.
