Use a non-metallic bowl for mixing with the developer. The mixing ratio is 1:2. To lighten hair by 3-4 levels, use a 20 volume (6%) developer. For lightening by 4-5 levels, use a 30 volume (9%) developer, and for 5-6 levels, use a 40 volume (12%) developer. To remove artificial pigment, use a 10 volume (3%) developer. Processing time is between 20 to 50 minutes, and you should check the lightening process periodically.
