This is a very unusual facial cleanser cream. However, I was won over by this product, although I was a little shocked by it at first. Let me explain why.
Firstly, there are products that are said to be "creams that hardly foam up." Well, this cream does not foam up AT ALL. Not even a little bit. It has a consistency similar to a cream of medium density with a slightly oily base. It is easily squeezed out of the tube. It glides on the skin amazingly smoothly. However, it can be misunderstood because it feels like you're just spreading cream on your face (I remind you that it doesn't foam up on dry or wet skin, even if you try to whip it up by gradually adding drops of water). Despite this, it cleanses excellently! This kind of cream with a creamy-oily base may not be suitable for oily skin, but it's not certain.
Secondly, the scent of the cream. It smells noticeably like cinnamon with another nuance added to it. And with slightly creamy sweet notes. The scent is warm. For me, the scent was a surprise. But I love the scent of cinnamon, so it suited me. However, there are people who can't stand the scent of cinnamon or simply don't like it. This needs to be taken into account.
When you rinse off the cream, it may seem like there is a slight greasiness on your face or as if the cream hasn't completely washed off. In reality, this feeling is deceptive. It is an unreal feeling of cleanliness and moisturization of the skin. The cream does not dry out the skin at all, but moisturizes it, softens it, and makes it very soft and tender. It feels like you haven't just washed your face, but already applied skincare. And the skin is transformed and grateful.
It does not clog pores, does not provoke inflammation or breakouts, and does not cause irritation or allergies (this is my experience + my skin is prone to allergic reactions).
I am confident that this cleansing cream will suit dry (especially), normal, dehydrated, and selectively combination skin (my skin is combination, sometimes normal, with small dry patches in the winter). However, it should be tested on oily skin. Everything is very individual. And it will also be appreciated by those who love the scent of cinnamon. It is perfect for autumn/winter but may be a bit heavy for summer (in my opinion).
I use it exclusively as the second step of cleansing. After using a hydrophilic oil (balm, sherbet for makeup removal). I haven't even tried using it as a standalone product for makeup removal.
For me, this cream is very unusual. Out of the vast number of facial cleansers, I have never come across anything like it. At the same time, my skin is grateful for such gentle and soft cleansing.
