Mancera Midnight Gold Eau de Parfum is an ode to luxury and eclecticism of a sophisticated nature, created in 2020 by the masterful perfumer and brand founder Pierre Montale. This fragrance symbolises willpower, desire for the wonderful and the mystery of an untamed personality. The luxury and elegance of the multi-level pyramid shines through the oriental accords, emphasising the charm and power of the owner.
The olfactory pyramid of Mancera Midnight Gold Eau de Parfum:
Top notes reveal spicy black pepper, piquant cardamom, slightly bitter lime, dry neroli, powdery rosemary, and citrusy tangerine shades.
Heart notes blend woody cedar, royal Turkish rose, and smoky patchouli leaf undertones.
Base notes form a beautiful trail woven from sweet ambergris, grassy oak moss, earthy oud, and white musk overflows.
I tried a sample, thank goodness. In my opinion, it's quite stinky. I sprayed it on myself once and could still feel it until the evening. That's why I only gave it 2 stars, for its long-lasting effect. Definitely for those who are 50+ and even then, it's a matter of personal preference.
Long-lasting MASCULINE fragrance. I mix it with feminine fragrances as I really like the aquatic notes in it. I tested it before and ordered it for my makeup, as it's cheaper and I'm very satisfied. For women, it only works with the image of red lipstick, a white blouse, high heels, and just one spritz on the skin. But it's best to combine it with feminine fragrances in minimal proportion. I dilute it at a ratio of 1 to 10 and I can still smell it, but now it's more unisex.
