Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - you can try them out and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Upon insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly positioned. If in doubt, feel the bottom of the cup - it should be round or oval once inserted. If you detect dents or folds in the cup, it means it has not fully expanded. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to form a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is correctly positioned!
