These cups are compact in size and are considered sanitary-hygienic products for women. They are made from materials such as latex, silicone, or, in the case of MeLuna menstrual cups, from high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - you can try various ones and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel dents or creases on the cup, it hasn't fully expanded. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
