Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods – try them and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval when inserted properly. If you notice dents or indentations, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, give the stem a slight tug; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is correctly positioned!
