Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by washing your hands thoroughly with soap. Fold the cup. There are different ways to fold it, so you can try various methods and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it is correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the bottom of the cup – it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully expanded. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, slightly tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is successfully positioned!
