Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - you can try various ones and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been properly placed. If in doubt, feel the base of the cup - when inserted correctly, it should be round or oval. If you feel dents or folds in the cup, it means it has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it’s in place, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction seal is established and the cup is successfully positioned!
