Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods you can try to determine which one works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup; it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice dents or folds in the cup, it hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to form a suction seal. Once it’s in place, gently tug on the stem. If you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is properly positioned!
