Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Begin by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup using one of the various folding methods available; experiment with different ones to find the most comfortable for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to open fully inside the vagina. You’ll hear a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that the cup is properly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you notice any dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try rotating it to create a suction seal. To check, lightly tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is securely in place!
