Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First and foremost, wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup; there are various folding techniques, so try different ones to find the method that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a noticeable suction or popping sound, indicating it is properly in place. If you're uncertain, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval. If you detect any dents or indentations, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to form a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
