Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup; there are different folding techniques, so you can try them and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup; it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you detect any dents or folds, the cup has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
