Ultraviolet rays contribute to the emergence of various skin diseases, the appearance of dangerous moles, and pigmentation spots. However, there's no need to despair: with quality sunscreen products, one can safely enjoy the sunshine in moderation.
One such cosmetic product was introduced by the brand Avene. The sunscreen cream with a mineral barrier is designed to protect against the full spectrum of sun rays for very sensitive skin. It contains no chemical filters or fragrances, thus preventing skin irritation and allergic reactions. The mineral barrier with filters of natural origin provides long-lasting and reliable protection thanks to its high photoresistance.
This product is ideal for people with the first and second phototypes, meaning very fair and fair to cream-white skin. The cream protects against UVA and UVB rays, restores the skin's barrier, and the integrity of skin cells.

Good, but very thick and white. You only need to apply a tiny amount and blend it well, otherwise there will be white marks on the skin and the skin will become a little pale.
I don't know why my comment was deleted((
This cream does not contain ZINC OXIDE, which is specifically meant to protect against pigmentation and photoaging... So it's important to check the ingredients before purchasing.
I have fair skin, with the second lightest shade in almost all palettes. I generously apply SPF 30 in winter and SPF 50 in summer due to sun sensitivity. I don't have pigmented spots, but rather a lack of pigmentation in the thinnest areas of my skin. It looks similar to vitiligo. Therefore, I don't desire any form of tan because not only does it create contrast, but it also spreads discoloration.
My cream is Anthelios Ultra from La Roche Posay. It is suitable for the most sensitive skin. However, due to my pregnancy, I decided to avoid chemical SPF. Yes, this cream from Avene with natural SPF is suitable for sensitive skin and doesn't even irritate the under-eye area, but it does leave a white mask. After applying it, I look blue like Casper. I tried powdering on top, but it gave me a plaster effect. Mixing it with foundation is also problematic, as they seem incompatible in formula, resulting in areas of foundation and areas of paleness that don't blend properly. I mentally prepare myself for the challenge of going to the mall to search for a foundation with a more compatible formula, ideally darker than my normal shade. I'll do anything for the sake of my child's health. However, the amount of powder on top of the cream is excessive and dries out my skin. After three days of this abuse, acne started appearing. I'll try to blend the densest foundation over it and see what happens. I'm not expecting miracles. There's a chance that I might even give up and just leave it for the beach. Although the cream itself is good.
I have the impression that this is a foundation. I didn't really like it.
The cream is very white on the skin, like a makeup for a mime.
This product excessively whitens the skin, making it shiny and emphasizing any flakiness due to its mineral composition. It clogs pores, especially in hot weather, leaving noticeable marks on the skin. I cannot comment on its sun protection capabilities yet, but it is not suitable for city use or as a makeup base. It is more suitable for simply applying on the face at the beach.
I am disappointed with this purchase! I read the reviews afterwards! The fact that it leaves a white residue is just one problem. The bluish-pink shade it gives off is also disgusting and shiny. Moreover, it doesn't even have the main ingredient for sun protection, zinc oxide, in its composition. I did not expect this from Avène. Complete disappointment. 1 star.
Before buying this cream and reading negative reviews that the cream is somehow not right, it does indeed leave a white residue on the skin, but that's how it should be - these are physical (mineral) filters - titanium dioxide and zinc oxide of white color. Considering that you need to apply approximately a teaspoon of cream, it is a quite thick layer and it will be very noticeable. Zinc oxide creams are suitable for people with sensitive skin, photodermatitis, and rosacea. For everyone else, if you don't have such problems, buy creams with chemical filters that match your skin type, they will not be noticeable on the skin.
The most useless purchase. The cream is blatantly white, even when applied in a very thin layer. And after using it, the face becomes very greasy, to the point that objects are reflected on the forehead. The cream clogs pores and accentuates all imperfections. I highly do not recommend it.
Pros:
- It is a mineral sunscreen cream, which unfortunately there are not many of on our market.
- It does not contain fragrances, which is especially important for sensitive skin.
- It contains iron oxides, which provide protection against visible light (in addition to the main protection against ultraviolet).
Cons:
- It does not contain zinc oxide, which is responsible for the main protection against UVA rays and therefore the main protection against photoaging in mineral sunscreens.
- It significantly whitens the face. Yes, whitening effects should be expected when using mineral sunscreens, but manufacturers still try to solve this problem and create creams with a less noticeable white film. However, it is very visible in this case. Furthermore, it is only possible to somewhat deal with the whiteness during the first application. But since all sunscreen creams need to be reapplied every 2 hours, it is impossible to evenly distribute/rub in this cream on the second application, making it less noticeable in any way.
- It has a very strong oily shine and some kind of pearlescent shimmer.
- It clogs pores.
In conclusion, I will not buy it again.
I am very dissatisfied with this cream, as recommended by a dermatologist. After applying it, my skin becomes sticky, pale with a pinkish tint. Even throughout the day, the cream fails to absorb properly into the skin, which is very unattractive.
I'm really disappointed with the money I spent on this product. It makes my face look like a white mask that also shines, and this is even though I have skin type 1 (meaning very fair skin). I felt like Edward Cullen from Twilight. So, before buying, think it through very well.
I am giving it three stars only because it doesn't cause any allergies and provides sun protection. However, after applying it, my skin feels like flour. It's like having a mummy face. I won't be purchasing it anymore. It's a shame I wasted my money. I bought it because the brand is good, but unfortunately...
My skin is prone to hyperpigmentation. Therefore, I am in search of SPF 50. Regarding the cream: the packaging, tube, and instructions are all concise and beautiful, as always with Avène. The cream is pink in color, with a pleasant consistency and a barely noticeable scent. It does not roll off but leaves a greasy sheen and whitens the skin. These two last drawbacks can be eliminated by applying transparent mineral powder 15 minutes after the cream. However, the face still appears paler than usual. The cream is suitable for girls with fair, cool-toned skin. Those with warm undertones will need to correct the paleness. As for functionality, I can't say anything yet as I have been using it for less than a week. P.S. If you are not prepared for the white face effect, it is better to prefer screens with chemical rather than physical filters.
The cream provides good protection, but it tends to leave a noticeable white residue on the skin. It is necessary to use powder on top of it to avoid this.
I tried the cream and was delighted. It took a little getting used to applying it. It spreads easier if there is already a bit of moisturizing cream on the face. You can blend it a bit with a cotton pad. The face becomes brighter and shinier. But after 5 minutes, you get used to it. And after 10 minutes, I started to really like the noticeably fresher look of my skin, as if I were 15 again. The most important thing is to evenly spread it. The shine doesn't scare me. Although it does seem a bit like I've put on highlighter or something, the key is to evenly spread it. I definitely prefer the whiteness and shine over the dull, splotchy face like an old grandmother's. Special thanks to the makeup for the fantastic service!
I have been using this cream for several months now and I will definitely buy it again. It works perfectly with foundation. I no longer have breakouts. Most likely, the chemical sunscreen was causing irritation, but this mineral one does not. Additionally, it gives a subtle glow to the face, as if illuminating it from within. A truly impressive product.
This is the only cream that "blocks out" the sun. When dealing with pigmentation, this is the most important condition. My face hardly tans, but this is more than compensated by the absence of dark spots on my face. For those who have experienced pigmentation, this provides excellent protection.
