Unfortunately, the skin on our lips lacks natural moisturizing and protective mechanisms, making it prone to chapping and drying out due to exposure to dry air, cold temperatures, summer heat, wind, and ultraviolet rays. Hence, it's not surprising that our lips often require protection and sometimes even treatment.
The specialists at Avene have offered a reliable solution. Their stick with cold cream gently and effectively cares for the delicate and thin skin of the lips, forming an imperceptible protective film. This product not only shields the lips from harsh environmental factors but also heals windburned, cracked lips or those damaged by medication, providing nourishment and hydration. Furthermore, the balm has a soothing and anti-irritant effect thanks to Avene thermal water, creating a comfortable sensation, and promotes the healing of mucous membranes with sucralfate.
The balm's rich texture ensures immediate comfort by relieving feelings of discomfort and tightness, as well as offering long-lasting protection by forming a protective film. It has a light pearly tint and a delicate fragrance.

I didn't like it at all. It doesn't moisturize and it makes my lips feel tight.
Great lip care product. It feels thick and I really like it.
I really liked this lip balm. It has a great texture and doesn't feel heavy on the lips. It nourishes and moisturizes the lips effectively.
I use it constantly, it nourishes and protects well. It has a pleasant scent.
The perfect option for the whole year, even in the summer, you don't feel any heaviness on your lips. It's not heavy, not sticky, and leaves your lips pleasantly moisturized.
There are no questions about the store's work, but questions have arisen about the product. The lip balm has become completely different, simply an ordinary hygienic lipstick that is not worth the money, it can be thrown away immediately! Change the description of the product that does not correspond to reality! Previously, there was a shimmering balm with a whitish color that did not spread, of excellent quality, but now it's just petroleum jelly that makes the area around the lips greasy and it's not a pleasant feeling.
I used to love this balm. The new version is like a chunk of oil, and it even breaks apart. It's such a disappointment, I won't be buying it anymore.
I have been familiar with Avene products for a long time. I have been searching for a good lip balm for a long time, and finally found one! The consistency is perfect. The balm feels lightweight on the lips, does not roll off, and moisturizes for a long period of time. The honey scent is absolutely lovely. It is suitable for both summer and winter.
I received the product from the EU with a slightly updated packaging and composition (the website still displays the old composition and photo of the old design).
This is already the second time the French have made changes to the balm (obviously removing mineral oil and adding something else, which is worse for my lips) and my sensitive lip skin reacts negatively.
In this case, it's not as bad as the new SVR version, but my lips still peel under the layer of balm.
If you don't have any issues with your lips and the skin around your mouth, you probably won't notice anything different.
However, if balms save you from terrible discomfort, redness around the mouth, burning sensations, and cracked corners, then be careful. Try one instead of three, like I did. Or maybe they still have the old design in stock in Ukraine, so it's worth stocking up. If I had known about the update, I would have done the same, but unfortunately, Makeup doesn't provide this information on time :(
In the photo, the new design is on the left, and the old design is on the right.
The best. After winter, I don't want to go back to lip gloss with this balm: even one layer lasts a long time; it moisturizes and protects well; there is a hint of pearl, which gives a beautiful light glow.
Fantastic balm, it does its job brilliantly.
The balm is like any other balm. It nourishes the lips well. It's neither better nor worse than popular brands like eos or carmex. I tested it in regular city winter conditions, not extreme ones.
Some people complained about the smell: I can't say it's bad, it just has a typical lipstick smell. If you're bothered by the smell of typical mom's lipsticks, then don't get it.
Great balm! It moisturizes the lips very well for a long time. It has a subtly pleasant smell. It doesn't have any taste, so it doesn't cause discomfort if accidentally ingested. After application, it leaves a light film on the lips, but that doesn't bother me (although I don't like heavy textures or products that don't absorb well). After two months of use, I started to feel that my lips appear slightly fuller after application. I highly recommend it!
The best winter product I have ever tried.
The balm has a very strong scent of "grandmother's perfume", a heavy and intrusive smell reminiscent of century-old powder. However, it doesn't really have any effect - it feels like I just applied oil, as it doesn't moisturize at all.
Out of all the lip balms, this one really works. It solves my problem with chapped and cracked lips within 2 days. With the harsh freezing temperatures right now, it's my savior.
I really love Aven's products, but unfortunately, the lip balm stick is an exception. It doesn't nourish, moisturize, or get rid of dryness, and the lipid film on the lips is absolutely awful! The smell is quite peculiar. Overall, it didn't suit me at all!
The lip balm didn't work at all. It actually dries out my lips even more. They are peeling even worse and it leaves a film on my lips. I am really disappointed.
If you have cracked and peeling lips, this lipstick is for you. It moisturizes and "heals" your lips well. I recommend it, great value for the price!
The balm did not work for me at all. Neither the scent, nor the taste, nor the texture. Additionally, it leaves a film and residue. On the other hand, I really love the Avene thermal water.
I have recently started using this lip balm, and so far I am satisfied. It has a rich formula that nourishes the lips well and gives a subtle pearly shine. In my opinion, the quality is excellent.
I really liked and found the balm suitable for me. I use it during the summer when my lips tend to dry out a lot from the sun, especially at the beach. It moisturizes and protects them well. Who needs that annoying pearl effect anyway? My lips look well-groomed. Super!!!
It does not moisturize or nourish. After applying and drinking, the lip balm seems to have disappeared, while dryness and tightness remain. Additionally, there is a terrible pearly shine on the lips, similar to cheap lipstick. This product is more likely suitable for those who do not suffer from dry lips.
Pearl, pale lips... does not moisturize or nourish.
The lip moisturizer provides excellent hydration, and I find myself reapplying it every 3 hours.
The balm, like all Avène cosmetics, is primarily medicinal, meaning it may not be suitable for everyone. However, for those it suits, it becomes their best friend! I adore this brand for its quality and affordable price! The balm is indeed thick and heavy, but it provides luxury-level lip protection! It can be used under lipstick if it doesn't apply well. It's not very economical, but it's worth the money! I will definitely buy it again!
I cannot use this balm because of the terrible pearl effect. One wonders why they had to put it in a healing balm, especially an expensive one.
Awful! Horribly pearly! Simply a nightmare.
Due to my love for Aven, I decided to purchase this lip balm. I only liked the scent. Other than that, there are only downsides. Instead of moisturizing chapped lips, it only highlights the flaws. It looks like grease on the lips. I use it as a base under lipstick and at home. My favorite remains Nivea's "Fruity Shine" lip balm, which is six times cheaper.
The balm is okay, I guess. But! It looks terrible on the lips. When you apply one layer, they become dull and matte. When you apply several layers, they turn white and shine cheaply.
