The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Niacinamide & Zinc Face Serum

I didn't buy this product here, but I ordered it from the official representative. Unfortunately, this product did not work for me at all with my skin. I have oily skin with breakouts. I used it every morning as part of my routine and almost finished the entire jar, but it had no effect whatsoever.

I found this serum to be very suitable for me. It doesn't create a wow effect, so you don't wake up in the morning with glowing skin, but after some time, you notice that breakouts and pimples have significantly reduced, and overall, the skin is more even.

The downside is that it runs out quickly.

I have been using it for a month, but unfortunately, I haven't noticed any effect. I bought it together with The Ordinary moisturizing cream.

When applied, it stings, even when there are no visible damages on the skin. It tightens and dries out my oily skin, especially in the nasal folds. It feels slightly sticky after application, which I don't really enjoy on my skin. I can confirm the mattifying effect. However, I prefer when my skin feels moisturized and soft, rather than polished.

It's just not for me. The serum didn't do anything bad, but it also didn't do anything good.

My boyfriend and I are using this product. I didn't have any skin problems, just occasional localized breakouts, but they no longer appear with the serum and my face is significantly less oily. My boyfriend has acne, but now there are hardly any inflamed elements, and the serum's effects are noticeable. I will definitely be purchasing more.

However, this serum turned out to be not the product I would purchase again.

I really liked it. I had a lot of pimples and blackheads, but they started to disappear when I started using it. No effect whatsoever. It leaves a sticky residue, and because of this, the foundation sticks to it even if I apply moisturizer and makeup primer on top. The greasiness remains the same as before. My first experience with this serum - so there's nothing to compare it to. At first, I let my skin get used to it, applying it every other day for a week. Then every evening. Overall, I like it so far, it really helps dry out all the breakouts. I have dry skin, so I always apply a thick cream after about 15-20 minutes. The breakouts disappear within a few days.

Inflammations disappear within a few days with its help! And, I know it's impossible, but it really visually reduces enlarged pores. The effect is temporary, but the appearance instantly transforms. The manufacturer claims that niacinamide also lightens pigmentation, but that's not true. I haven't noticed anything like that in all this time. But I will continue to buy and use this product as I did before.

I'm writing a review that might be helpful to someone. I bought this serum from somewhere else and before that, I was using Bielenda serum with niacinamide. I was absolutely certain that my skin was already used to vitamin B3. I applied it quite generously before bed, but in the morning, I had burns around my lips and lots of small pimples. I'll give it a second chance once everything settles down. But for the first application, I'll definitely use just a drop, no more. After all, 10% is still a high concentration.

This is an excellent product, and the results are noticeable after the first use. If your skin is already well-moisturized, you may not need to use the cream. The scent is light and pleasant, and the product dries quickly. I highly recommend it.

The serum did not work for me.

I love Ordinary products, but I didn't understand this serum. It doesn't mattify the skin and doesn't reduce oiliness. After a few hours of applying it (along with the Ordinary NMF moisturizer and mineral powder), my face becomes shiny. It also didn't have any effect on the number of breakouts (under the chin). It was difficult to use this product for several weeks without seeing any results, so I went back to using the 12% ascorbic serum and matrixyl, which showed noticeable effects after just a few uses.

Unfortunately, this product did not work for me and caused numerous small breakouts all over my forehead.

The serum does indeed mattify the skin, slightly brightens it, and has a small lifting effect. It doesn't leave any stickiness on the skin, doesn't conflict with the NMF cream from The Ordinary, and doesn't slide off the face. However, I wouldn't say that it is effective against breakouts. I think products with azelaic or salicylic acid would be more appropriate in such cases.

In short, give it a try. Many people write that they notice the results when it's almost finished. However, I didn't buy it here.
