This product has a good natural composition. It feels great after washing. However, it does not remove matte lipsticks, waterproof mascaras, and it is thick and poorly emulsifies for such a price. I like this brand, but I will not buy this oil anymore.
I have been using hydrophilic oils for a long time and I have something to compare them with. This oil is wonderful and it fulfills its stated purpose 100%. The texture is pleasant and it spreads easily on the face. Personally, I didn't really like the smell, but you can only notice it when you apply the oil to your face. A separate plus is the dispenser. Usually, hydrophilic oils have a dispenser that doesn't allow easy transportation of the product, so you have to transfer it to another container to take it with you on trips. This one is slightly different and has a protective cap, which makes transportation convenient and safe for your cosmetics bag (especially for those who travel or go on business trips frequently). I definitely recommend it and will definitely buy it again.
I decided to try this oil after using hydrophilic Korean oils. My conclusion is that the composition is natural, with no mineral oils or petroleum products, which is important if you don't want to have clogged pores and a film that suffocates your skin, even after rinsing. Another fact is that cleansing your face with castor oil, especially when combined with almond oil, which are basic oils suitable for all skin types, works. The only question is how to use them. Apply this oil only on dry face, massage it for a few minutes to warm it up and penetrate the pores, then with wet clean hands, start creating a milky emulsion using circular motions. Then, rinse your hands again and wash your face with warm water, it's essential. After that, use a gel or foam cleanser, as this is a necessary step, without it, some of the oil will remain in the pores and you will experience blockages. Do not use any micellar water after cleansing with oil, it is a product that is not suitable for additional cleansing, you need to remove the remaining oil with a foaming product. If you strictly follow these steps, there will be no problems. Otherwise, no hydrophilic oil will work for you as it should. I liked Caudalie's natural scent, composition, and the fact that it does not dry out the skin or disrupt your microbiome.
Great oil, I bought it based on a blogger's recommendation despite being hesitant because of previous reviews. It's convenient that it comes with a dispenser, two pumps are enough for the entire face, and it has a neutral scent. It didn't cause any breakouts (I have combination skin). I don't like removing eye makeup with oil, so I use micellar water. It removes SPF cream well. Some people wrote that it doesn't leave the skin dry, but no oil has ever left my skin dry. Afterward, I use a cleansing gel. It doesn't cause any tightness.
Great oil, it effectively cleanses pores and removes makeup (I don't wear heavy makeup, just BB cream, blush, and mascara).
The sensation on the skin is pleasant after application, I would rate it 4 out of 5. However, I suspect that it was precisely after using the oil that I developed rashes in quite unusual areas on my face.
I really like this oil, it effectively removes makeup. Of course, it should be rinsed off with a foam or gel cleanser.
I really love this cosmetics brand and decided to order it regardless of the reviews. The oil is not bad, it leaves the skin smooth and moisturized, without the feeling of tightness that some makeup removers can cause. However, if you want to completely remove makeup with it, it's definitely not enough. I still go over my face with micellar water and then use a toner from the same line.
I regularly use makeup removers, but this one completely fails to do the job. I have a regular non-waterproof mascara, and this oil doesn't dissolve it completely. It is quite thick in itself and caused me breakouts.
I absolutely love Kodali, but perhaps the only thing that I didn't like about them is their oil.
I really liked this oil, it effectively removes makeup and removes mascara perfectly (I wash my face with a foam cleanser after using the oil), leaving no traces. I chose it because of its natural composition and I have not regretted it. I have sensitive skin and have experienced no negative reactions after using it for three weeks.
