Guy Laroche Fidji Eau de Parfum

I purchased these for my mom to help her reminisce about her youth. I don't remember their scent from back then, but my mom says this perfume water is similar, although it lacks longevity and a lingering trail. The aroma is very pleasant, it is bitter and fresh, overall it is quite appealing. It needs to be applied generously for the desired effect. Thank you for the delivery!

I am very happy that I ordered Fiji - once they were my first French perfumes. Then I bought them again because I really liked them! And then they disappeared from sale... Thank you Makeup for bringing back my favorite perfumes! The scent, in my opinion, has not changed!

There are no limits to my satisfaction with this fragrance, which changes every minute and lasts up to 12 hours. It is timeless, just like the opening notes - we are of the same age.

I found an old bottle of this perfume on the shelf, a leftover from 30 years ago (not my perfume). I sprayed it on my wrist. Oh my goodness. It's a miracle! How different they are from everything they sell nowadays.

At first, it's like a sharp cologne scent. After an hour, the smell transforms into a fresh forest, infused with the sweetness of young grass and a hint of powdery lime or lemon... Over time, it evolves into a sweet and bitter powdery wood scent with a citrus note.

It's not a sweet fragrance, but rather a blend of damp wood and a subtle powdery citrus aroma, barely detectable.

The scent has hardly changed since those long, long years ago. Well, maybe just a tiny bit. Or maybe it's just us who have changed. But its complex character remains, manifesting itself differently in different weather conditions and on different surfaces (skin, hair, clothes). The longevity tells a similar story - the scent is heard differently all the time. If it seems to disappear quickly after application, try it in different weather, at a different time. The scent is actually long-lasting, it's just our perception playing tricks on us.
