This gel does nothing, it simply provides a cooling sensation on the face... no real benefit.

After the first use, I could strongly feel the cooling menthol on my skin. However, this effect disappeared with further use, and now the gel simply has a pleasant scent and cleanses the skin. The consistency is gel-like, without any microgranules (which I thought should be present). It is also economical, as a small drop goes a long way.

I have ordered it for the second time now. I can't believe I used to torture my face with scrubs made from apricot pits :D It cleanses very effectively.

I chose this green one because the blue Effaclar was a bit weak for my combination skin, but I must say that this green one is more aggressive and I can't use it twice a day because it dries out my skin. It's better to combine the green and blue or use the foam. I also don't like the menthol effect, especially when it gets in my eyes. For the body, it's best to use the classic version.

It cleanses well, but personally, it doesn't suit me for daily use as it starts to make my skin peel (the exfoliation works). Therefore, I use it no more than 2-3 times a week.

Great product. Cleanses the skin well and treats breakouts. I also noticed its healing effect on the scalp. I had developed dandruff and couldn't get rid of it, but after using this product once, the dandruff disappeared. (It should be understood here that the dandruff was likely caused by my skin needing a deep cleanse or exfoliation).

This is a very good face wash gel. I used the blue one before, but it didn't cleanse my skin enough. This one works perfectly! Thanks to the salicylic acid, my skin feels fresh and soft, and acne appears much less frequently and heals faster. If I moisturize my skin enough after washing, there is no dryness or flaking. It may actually help with post-acne, but based on my observations, it's not more effective than the blue gel. It really works well in combination with Effaclar Duo+, which I have been using for six months now, and my pimples and post-acne have reduced significantly. I am waiting for my face to be completely clear.

I have been using this product for a year now, based on the recommendation of a cosmetologist, and I am extremely satisfied! I used to have terrible acne, despite not being a teenager anymore (I am 34 years old), but I have very oily skin and enlarged pores. The cosmetologist advised me to use the Effaclar line: this gel, Duo+ cream, and a soothing toner (from a different line, to avoid drying out the skin). In just two weeks, my pimples completely disappeared!!! I then added the serum from the same series to get rid of the marks and minimize my pores. It has been a year now, and my skincare routine has remained consistent. My skin looks amazing, my pores have tightened, and I have gotten rid of the oiliness and no longer need to use powder constantly. I only get a few pimples occasionally before my period. It's a great find for its price! But it's important to use the entire series, as replacing one product might not give the same results. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I can't say that it's for oily/problematic skin. It burns in certain areas. Comedogenic. The scent is chemical, reminiscent of cheap children's bubbles. I don't recommend it to anyone and I won't be purchasing it again.

The face was generally clean, but the cosmetologist recommended it for enlarged pores and small breakouts. On the second day after using it, I noticed a couple of subcutaneous pimples. On the third day, they appeared along with red inflammations, and by the fifth day, my face was generally red and slightly burning. Five years ago, a dermatologist prescribed me a blue gel, and the reaction was exactly the same. The cosmetologist recommended this green one because it has a different composition and supposedly doesn't dry out the skin as much, according to her claims. Overall, it's now the sixth day and I don't think I should continue using it. I'm afraid to apply it to my shoulders and back now because I assume it will only get worse. A couple of years ago, I used different acids, and I didn't have such a reaction.

Unfortunately, it did not work at all. I used it on my body - chest, back, where breakouts appeared. It only got worse.

This gel is the best blue one, in my opinion blue really dries out the skin. I use this one during the summer when my skin gets oily quickly, it doesn't cause any new breakouts. I like it and I will buy it again.

It has been exactly a year since I started using this face cleanser. I use it myself, and my boyfriend has also used it a few times. It spilled in our suitcases a couple of times because it wasn't closed properly. And there is still 200 ml of product left. It is the most economical gel that I know. We didn't become friends with it immediately because it initially dried out my skin (it wasn't used to acids and started peeling a bit). But after a few weeks, it got used to it. I had blemishes from acne. Without any cosmetic procedures, they have almost disappeared in a year (thanks to the active ingredients in my skincare routine since July - AHA and niacinamide). The gel does a great job in enhancing their effectiveness. 5+ rating.

The consistency of the gel micropeeling is transparent with a hint of menthol scent (no scrubbing particles, but there are acids). My skin is combination type (+ prone to allergic reactions). The effectiveness of this "product" for me is ambiguous (neutral exfoliation; occasional allergic reaction - rash). I use it once or twice a week.

I bought this product at the beginning of winter. It is very economical (my boyfriend and I have only used 2/3 of the 200ml package until mid-summer). It is best to use it on dry skin. The effect is better that way. On wet palms, squeeze a small amount of the product and lather well.

After using it, my skin feels so soft! It's pleasant to touch. After about 25 minutes, the first flakes appear. And that, in my opinion, is the only downside of this exfoliator. It can easily be removed with Effaclar H, so it's not a problem. It took a few weeks for my skin to get used to the acidity. After 1.5 months, my face stopped peeling and got used to the salicylic acid in the composition. It's perfect.

As for its effectiveness, after a little over six months, I noticed a reduction in acne marks. They haven't completely disappeared, but this is not the main product I use to combat them, it's just a cleansing exfoliator. So it fulfills its functions completely. When it runs out, I will definitely buy it again.

What about this product:
✅Consistency: gel-like, without any particles, foams well;
❌Smell: when foamed, there is a noticeable menthol scent, but with negative notes (there is something resembling gelatin in the aroma); (Different strokes for different folks:);
❌Does not handle certain claimed tasks, definitely does not work as a peel. At least on acne-prone skin, it does not remove flakes at all. Even if you combine several products from this line.
✅Does not tighten the skin, removes shine, matte finish (the effect of fresh skin lasts for about 2/3 hours);
✅After application, a pleasant freshness is felt, the face feels cleansed, without impurities, coolness, there may be slight tingling (but pleasant), very easy to use.
✅Not a big expense, I would say it's average.
❌In my opinion, the price is inflated for such an effect, but it's typical for this brand.
Overall, you can buy it for variety, to change your cleanser for a while, or as an addition to your cleansing routine. But definitely don't expect it to be a peel.

However, this product does not work on its own. Its purpose is to cleanse the skin, so it is ESSENTIAL to apply a moisturizer afterwards (whichever suits you) to avoid any feeling of tightness or dryness. Personally, I use it together with a toner to minimize pores, also from La Roche, and then seal it with a moisturizing cream from the same line.

This product did not work for my oily and problematic skin. The cleansing is great, but it excessively dried and irritated my skin, leading to new breakouts (although this could be due to the acids).

The gel effectively cleanses and mattifies the skin. On the third day of use, a couple of inflammations appeared, but it is most likely just a skin reaction to the acids present in its composition. Now everything is fine. I use it in combination with a serum based on three acids from the same brand and the results are quite noticeable.

I received the mini version as a gift, and it cleanses well, but it slightly irritates my sensitive skin. I use it once or twice a week.

Disappointment with the entire product line. After 3 days of use, my skin became excessively dry, the areas around my nose became severely red and painful, and my skin felt tight and irritated. The same happened with the toner from this same series.
