I liked the fragrance, I didn't expect such a unisex smell. It is neither excessively sweet nor overwhelming, and there is no specific floral note either. It is long-lasting and elegant. Moreover, the bottle itself is beautiful. Now I am considering trying the Gold version as well.
These floral fragrances are incredibly long-lasting and pleasant. They do not have any abrupt shifts or overpowering notes.
Attention lovers of chypre fragrances! This is the scent for you, with its delicate appreciation for the transitions from the first note to the base, accompanied by various intriguing nuances that change the aroma. At the same time, if you prefer light, fresh, herbal scents, you will not appreciate or understand it. Don't waste your time.
I received this fragrance as a gift from a friend who returned from abroad and knowing that I was a fan of Byzance in the 90s, she decided to please me. This is a beautiful modern fragrance, similar to many others, but it is not at all similar to its legendary predecessor. Therefore, for me, this fragrance became the downfall of Byzantium. My advice to those who loved the 1987 release of Byzance is to definitely test it before buying.
I don't know why they decided to reissue Byzantium instead of Alchemy, but I was very happy to see it again. I bought it more for my collection (such maniacs, those maniacs :)). It doesn't match the old scent. Vanilla and rose are very distinct. The scent is long-lasting, sweet, pleasant, not cloying or overwhelming, but somewhat plain, if you will – it doesn't change, it doesn't play. But maybe they just haven't settled yet, I'll try again later. I recommend it for lovers of non-intrusive sweet fragrances.

I bought it out of love for "aquawoman", although I saw that it was completely different from the description, but I thought maybe there would be some hint of it. But, of course, there isn't)) Besides the blue bottle, there is nothing similar)) And that makes sense since the description clearly indicates that it is sweet-sweet))) I don't know what I was hoping for)))
