After 5 minutes, I redistribute any excess serum that hasn't been absorbed. If needed, I can gently pat my face dry with a towel. I can't say for sure what it does for my pigmentation spots, but overall, it improves the condition of my skin and I love the feeling of a hydrated and fresh-looking face.
