I have tried all the lipsticks from this line. In terms of hold, this lipstick is weak, despite being labeled as strong hold. However, it has a pleasant vanilla scent. The yellow tenax has medium hold, while the green tenax has strong hold, so I recommend choosing one of these two.
Great thing, I bought it for my husband to style his hair. It has a pleasant smell, like coconut oil, and doesn't leave any greasy residue. It also does a great job at fixing straight hair. The negative reviews below might be from people with coarser hair.
Long-lasting sweet unpleasant scent. The container feels like foil. It doesn't hold hair in place.
The hold is close to zero... not even average! The scent is long-lasting and sickeningly sweet, with a distant hint of vanilla that leaves a trail like perfume (not masculine or unisex at all). Five minutes after applying it to the hair, it dries up and becomes noticeable in the nose. The tin is made of thin metal and it bends with every opening and closing, leaving dents. It's terrible in a tin can. I do not recommend it.
