However, the gel hasn't caused any discomfort or allergies, and the scent doesn't bother me as it is just a regular pharmacy scent. It rinses off well.

For my problematic skin, it is perfect. I use it twice a week and there is a visible result. It is very economical to use and has a neutral scent.

I would rather describe it as a decent basic cleanser rather than an active one with salicylic acid. It is simple and absolutely comfortable in all other aspects.

For those with sensitive and irritated skin, even with minor wounds or blemishes, it would be better to choose something gentler and non-irritating from the CeraVe line of cleansers.

The face wash is excellent, much better than the green one, as this one does not cause acne, on the contrary, it dries out existing acne and gradually lightens post-acne marks.
