If you're looking to create your own spa sanctuary at home and enjoy relaxing treatments, opt for natural products and substances that can be used to make face masks and compresses for the entire body. Moroccan volcanic clay from the brand E-naturalne is a 100% natural mineral that, when mixed with water or creams, forms a thick, dense consistency. This natural substance, also known as Ghassoul, is one of the oldest natural cosmetics for body and hair care. Its uniqueness lies in its foaming property, making it not only suitable for adding to face and body masks but also as a soap or shampoo.
Features of Ghassoul Clay from E-naturalne:
- Certified as organic;
- Mineral composition: silica (55-65%), magnesium oxide (<21%), alumina (<5%), sodium, potassium, and other trace elements and mineral salts;
- Provides a detox effect;
- Removes excess skin oil;
- Strengthens the skin;
- Fights inflammation;
- Suitable for all skin types, especially recommended for sensitive and oily skin;
- Can be mixed with orange blossom water, rose water, or essential oils;
- Argan oil enhances the nourishing and smoothing properties of the clay.-
For the face:
- Basic mask: Mix one part clay with mineral water or hydrosol in a 1:1 ratio using a wooden spoon in a glass or ceramic bowl (do not use metal utensils) until you achieve a smooth paste. Apply to the face and leave on for 5 minutes (the mask may dry and crack during this time). Rinse off with plenty of warm water. Use once a week.
- Oily and acne-prone skin: Mix the clay with herbal tea, such as yarrow, horsetail, St. John's wort, or chamomile. You can enrich it with honey, lemon juice, or apple cider vinegar.
- Mature and dry skin: Mix the clay with argan oil, cucumber, carrot juice, cottage cheese, olive oil, and wheat germ oil. Apply to the face. Rinse off after 10-15 minutes.
For the body: Mix Ghassoul clay with oil, then add a little water. Massage your body in circular motions. After a few minutes, wash off with warm water. For exfoliation: Mix the clay with sea salt, then add oil with your chosen essential oil or just the oil. Apply the scrub to damp skin, massaging in circular motions, then rinse off with warm water. Exfoliation is recommended for thicker skin.
