Hydrophilic Facial Oil - Babor Cleansing HY-OL
This is a find! I don't regret spending a penny on this oil. The scent is wonderful and it gently removes makeup. Don't forget that you need to wash off any hydrophilic oil with a facial cleanser!
I didn't quite understand this hydrophilic oil. No matter how much I rinse it, my skin remains greasy. At first, I bought it without the phytoactive ingredient, and it removed makeup nicely, but I had to wash my face with foam two or three times to avoid leaving any residue. Then I bought the one with the phytoactive ingredient, thinking that maybe it was a more specialized product, but no - the same story with the phytoactive one. And on top of that, I have to use the foam again because my face is covered in a greasy film. The oil doesn't last long, I need at least three pumps of oil and two or three of the phytoactive. Maybe it's suitable for dry skin, but it didn't work for my combination skin.
This is the best facial cleanser I have ever used. I used it with the sensitive skin phytoactive. My face looks fresh and radiant. It doesn't tighten or dry out my skin. I tried other complexes after this one (like Is Clinic and Elemis), but I came back to Babor. My skin tends to be dry.
Strange, but for me, this is the best cleansing oil. I've tried all the luxury Korean cosmetics, but none of them compare. It's lightweight, rinses off easily, leaving no residue. My skin feels soft, moisturized, and refreshed afterwards. The best part is that I don't need to use a foam cleanser like with Korean products. I've tried different phytoactives, and this one is the best for sensitive skin. Although I haven't used it to remove makeup, I simply use it for cleansing.
I didn't quite understand this oil - I used it together with the phytoactive for combination and oily skin. It removes makeup decently, but after washing it off, it leaves a film on the skin.
