The body oil truly has no scent and it is definitely a plus. It is easily absorbed, but after about 10 minutes, clothes tend to stick to the skin. It moisturizes and nourishes quite well, and is comfortable to use overall. As an additional skincare during pregnancy, it is definitely good!
I bought a set in Poland: oil + unscented cream. The price of the set was 60 zlotys (approximately 450 UAH)!!!! There was a promotion at the pharmacy.
In Ukraine, the cream costs 778 UAH, and the oil was 350 UAH a week ago, but today I see it's 600 UAH!!!! So, if you buy the set, it will cost 1378 UAH!
Now, about the product itself. The cream is amazing, it moisturizes very well, I even use it on my face. The ingredients are natural. I apply the cream at night and the oil in the morning. I prefer the cream. I don't regret buying it, especially for such a price.
The oil is truly odorless, which is perfect for morning sickness (I couldn't stand the scent of Velda). It takes a while to absorb, so you can't apply it and immediately rush to work. It doesn't stain clothes, but you can feel it on your skin for a long time. My choice is to use it in the evening, and in the morning, it's better to use a cream. The plastic container is transparent, which is not ideal for natural oils, but on the other hand, it's a plus for safety in the slippery bathroom. There is no dispenser, which is inconvenient, and because of that, the consumption is very high. You pour it on your palm, pour, and it either doesn't pour, or suddenly there's too much... What I really liked is that within a few days, my skin became much more hydrated and elastic, and the painful stretching sensation around my belly disappeared.
This oil is just like any other oil. The "bio" label and lack of scent make it more expensive than their oil with a dispenser and scent (although the dispenser is extremely inconvenient). After trying a few expensive oils, I switched to cheaper ones. No one guarantees miracles, and I don't expect them from any oil. With all that being said, it actually lasts for about 2.5 weeks if I apply it to my stomach, back, chest, buttocks, and thighs. If I exclude the thighs, it will last almost a month. And that's if I only apply it in the evening, but some girls start applying it 2-3 times a day at later stages. During the day, I prefer to use cream instead of oil because I simply throw away my night cream afterwards.
Some of my friends bought pure coconut oil or shea butter. I tried them too, but they take a long time to absorb, especially shea butter. Moreover, shea butter needs to be melted beforehand because it comes in granules. I didn't get along with it. That's why I prefer oils in liquid form, but at a more reasonable price. There is a huge selection of oils in the makeup aisle. I don't feel any difference in effect, but I definitely feel the difference in price.
I bought this oil in Serbia, and now I will be ordering it from Makeup as it has just become available in Ukraine. I really liked that the oil has a natural composition and almost no scent. I didn't realize how important this was until I tried scented oils from other brands. And once again, I come back to Mustela fragrance-free.
