The beloved British brand Floris, founded in the distant year of 1730, has not only solidified its position in the market over nearly three centuries but also gained a reputation as an impeccable manufacturer, with each new product being an important event in the fashion world.
The eau de toilette No 89 has also become legendary in its own right. Men have been using it since 1951, and its fragrance remains as in-demand and relevant as ever. Its top note is a vibrant blend of orange, bergamot, lavender, nutmeg, and neroli. This incredible ensemble surprises and captivates from the first inhalation. At the heart of the perfume lies a tender duo of geranium and rose. The base notes are sensual and noble components: vetiver, musk, and oakmoss. This scent is a worthy representative of elite perfumery. It belongs to the woody-fougère category. The perfume complements the masculine image with elegant nobility, understated determination, and a mysterious allure.
Excellent product. Rating slightly below maximum because I have been using Floris for a very long time and I know how it used to be. The perfume presented in the photo is slightly inferior in quality. However, it is much better than most of the so-called elite perfumes currently available. But this rating only applies to this batch. If you receive a bottle with the batch code WM13398-2, it is better to avoid buying it. It lacks the embossed swirls on the label frame. This is a new design and the packaging leaves no doubt about its authenticity. It's just a sloppy job from a manufacturer with three centuries of experience. The scent is worse than the previous batch, with a background note that resembles either paint thinner or kerosene. Using it can cause slight nausea. The supplier in Ukraine moderates the reviews on their website, so I am posting this on other platforms. Of course, this does not apply to the rest of Floris' products. I happily use almost all the products from the Elite and No. 89 lines.
