Liquid Foundation - NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow
Faster than a BB cream, this product is not bad but it fails to cover imperfections on the skin. It tends to dry out the skin.
I overall like this foundation, it matches my color perfectly. I have very fair skin, so I got the light porcelain shade. The foundation needs to be blended right away, and I do it with a brush because I don't like how much the sponge absorbs. Before applying, I always moisturize my skin with cream to avoid emphasizing any dry patches.
I definitely like this foundation. Firstly, the color is great. I have shade 6.5, which has a beautiful sandy undertone. I dislike pink and peachy shades of foundation as they don't suit my skin tone.
Secondly, I love the texture and coverage. I appreciate that it's not too heavy and that I can easily even out my skin tone with it. If I want a heavier coverage, I apply it with a brush, and if I want a lighter coverage, I use a beauty blender.
I use this foundation during the cold season. I have combination skin that tends to get oily, so I lightly powder it after applying the foundation to set it. The foundation stays on perfectly throughout the day.
Overall, it's important to choose a product that matches your skin type and to apply the right base. This way, the product will wear well and there won't be as many negative comments.
Definitely not. It dries out the skin, making pores even more visible.
The foundation is great. I bought it as a replacement for Maybelline's Affinitone and I am satisfied. It moisturizes and gives a delicate glow to the skin. The only downside is that it slightly accentuates dry patches in some areas.
I'm giving it 2 stars only for the color, finally not pink, but that's the only positive thing about it. The foundation is like playdough, clay, anything but a normal coverage, unfortunately.
Actually, my favorite foundation. I have young and combination skin without wrinkles, but sometimes I experience dryness, and this foundation does not accentuate it. It applies smoothly and provides good coverage. I am very satisfied.
To apply this "toner", you need to apply another one on top of it in order to improve its appearance in any way.
Very bad, really very bad. I bought this cream based on reviews, but I don't understand how anyone could like it. It applies very poorly, accentuating any unevenness on the face, and it dries out the skin while creating a mask-like effect. I am extremely disappointed.
The finish is matte, there is no wet finish, and there is definitely no shine. Unfortunately, the color didn't match because I have very fair skin. I ordered shade 01, always opting for the lightest shade, and it always suits me. However, this one is just pure white.
It is easy to pick a shade with this palette of tones, but working with this foundation is very difficult. Without a primer, it seeps into the pores, leaving a strange shiny film on the surface of the skin. I tried using it over serum + cream at first, but the result was the same. It only sits well with the help of a primer (I use Maybelline New York Fit Me Luminous + Smooth).
My favorite foundation from Nix, despite having oily, dehydrated, and problematic skin. It covers everything flawlessly, making my skin glow from within and visually minimizing pores. I tried the Can't Stop foundation as a sample, and it was a complete disappointment. If it's Nix, then it's only this one or the pink BB cream.
Not a bad foundation, although it claims to be a "radiant foundation", it's actually just a regular one without a matte finish. One downside is that it settles into the eyelid creases, and it takes a few wipes to fix it. The packaging is awful, it leaks a lot, as soon as you open it, a lot of product spills out, so you have to store it with the lid facing upwards. It does provide good coverage and has a nice finish.
Before, I couldn't find anything lighter than Lumene Natural Code Skin Perfector Matt in shade 10 Vanilla for my fair skin. But when it was discontinued, I only found a replacement from NYX in shade 1.5 Fair, which turned out to be even lighter and denser than Lumene. I am satisfied.
I chose the shade in person at the store, and I got the shade 06 vanilla. I haven't used it on my face yet, but I really liked everything about it.
My favorite foundation for my combination skin - it's excellent. Shade 06 doesn't turn yellow or clump. As a result, it looks great even without powder at the end. By the way, for some reason, it's currently not available in NYX stores.
And this foundation suited me well. I have combination skin. It's dry in some areas and oily in others, but this foundation works really well. I just powder my T-zone a little and it looks perfect! This is already my second time purchasing it. I don't regret it. Give it a try.
This product is terrible.
Horrible foundation. It seeps into pores, dries out the skin, and doesn't blend well.
Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the comments and recommendations. One makeup artist recommended it, so I hoped it would be good. Girls, don't buy it. It doesn't sit well on the skin; I tried it on myself and on clients. It creases, even on a good base and moisturized skin. It settles into fine lines and feels unpleasant on the face. It doesn't have any glowing effect on the finish.
