Liquid Concealer - Lovely No More Dark Circles Full Coverage Concealer
I tried shade 3, hoping to choose the lightest one. In reality, it turned out to be very "yellow", so don't try to go my route, choose based on shade, not brightness. When applied to foundation or correctors (especially on bare skin or just with a moisturizing layer), it settles into every crease/pore/wrinkle, highlighting the texture of the skin, looking very heavy and artificial. It's not suitable for leaving the house like that, BUT! if you use any primer underneath, it solves the problem. The flaws can be forgiven for the low price.
I tried using this concealer in shade #4 for a while, but ultimately realized that I don't like it. Here are my observations:
- After applying, the concealer oxidizes and becomes darker.
- One positive aspect is that this concealer sets and doesn't stick or smear. Because of this, you can even apply eyeshadow on top without using a primer.
- Towards the end of the makeup application, it starts to settle into lines on the lower eyelid. If not powdered, it tends to slide off even more, but if powdered, the eyelid looks dry and aged.
- The coverage is medium, but when layering the concealer, it doesn't look nice.
- What bothered me the most is that even when applied thinly, this concealer doesn't blend with the skin and is very noticeable.
