I have previously ordered this foundation in shade 420, and it was a perfect match for me. It had a light shade, which was ideal. However, this time when I ordered it, I received a dark peach shade, and I am extremely dissatisfied.
I ordered this foundation and received it the very next day. It's excellent.
If you have perfect skin, then this foundation will suit you. However, if you have any flaws such as minimal skin texture, pores, or dryness, the result is disappointing as it will accentuate them. On the plus side, it is long-lasting. I have been using Bourjois foundations for ten years, but now I am switching to something else.
My favorite foundation. It mattifies the skin and lasts for a long time.
The cosmetics are amazing!
This is my second time ordering the shade 110 Light Vanilla. It doesn't turn yellow, applies smoothly, and doesn't smudge. The fragrance is just as pleasant as the previous bottle.
I purchase shade 100 and apply it with a damp sponge in a very thin layer. It looks very nice and the finish is rather matte. It doesn't clog pores or cause breakouts. It is quite long-lasting and doesn't feel heavy on the face.
The undertone has a pinkish hue, so it may not suit everyone. But overall, it's a great foundation.
I bought two shades, 120 and 125. The foundation is not bad, but I kindly request the seller to provide accurate information about the product, specifically the country of manufacture. The description stated that the manufacturer is from the UK, but the product I received was manufactured in Ukraine. Please differentiate between products from the EU and those in stock. I did not expect to buy a product from Ukraine at this price. The product itself is almost identical to the original.
I ordered this product in Germany in April, thinking that I had found my perfect shade. It provided good coverage for acne and was thick.
I ordered it in Ukraine as well, in the shade "Elephant Bone 115". It was darker and more liquid. I am disappointed... It is completely different from what I expected.
This foundation used to be my favorite. I always bought shades 120 and 125 and mixed the two creams. However, the last time I ordered from Makeup, I was completely disappointed. The foundation in shade 120 supposedly came from the EU, but I don't know if it's a fake made who knows where or if the formula has been ruined. Its consistency is thinner than before and it applies in a thin layer, not covering imperfections. Also, the shade is completely different from what it used to be. I am very disappointed and will not order it again.
This is a very worthy product, quite long-lasting for its price. It doesn't crumble and doesn't look like a frozen matte mask. I'm buying it for the second time in shade 110, for fair skin. Previously, I used Lancome Idol, Erborian, and Este Lauder will remain for special occasions.
I would like to add another photo.
This foundation, it was love. It provided a semi-matte coverage, which worked really well for my combination skin. And the scent, oh my, I absolutely loved it. But with this order...
The previous jar had a neutral shade, which suited me perfectly. But now, it's just awful. It feels like I ordered orange paint. It's just not suitable at all. Another product and money wasted. I'm attaching a photo. I won't be ordering from this website anymore. Very disappointed.
The dark shade is what I ordered now. The light one, previously.
Until now, I have been using Oriflame Georgani and The One, but today I decided to save some money and bought this foundation from a cosmetics store. The test application on my hand went well, the matte shade is perfect for summer, I thought, and the consultant assured me that it keeps the skin hydrated all day. However, when I applied it to my face, I was disappointed. Every wrinkle became three times deeper and more noticeable. Moreover, I had to touch up the cream throughout the day because it seemed to settle into deeper wrinkles. It doesn't show on my hand, but it really dries out my face and causes visible flakiness. So, applying it after a scrub or peel is not a good idea at all. In short, I don't recommend using it after the age of 40. Maybe it would work well for very oily under-eye skin. I give it one star for the brand and another star for the nice packaging.
I have combination, more towards oily skin with enlarged pores in the T-zone. Prior to this, I used the BB cream and Healthy Mix Serum from the same brand. The coverage of this foundation is medium, with a matte finish. Sometimes I even use it in 2 layers as a concealer. I didn't like that this cream accentuates the texture of the skin, making every flake very noticeable. Additionally, this cream is very drying for the skin throughout the day. For now, the BB cream from Bourjois is still my favorite.
Shades - my favorites, I buy them for the ginger hue and mix them with the Korean ones. They enhance all the dryness and aging signs.
I may not be very demanding, but I will give it a 3-star rating. This is only because of its somewhat decent lasting power (although nowhere near the 24 hours claimed by the manufacturer) and its ability to provide some coverage. However, it doesn't blend well even with a damp sponge, and the scent is absolutely terrible. It didn't work well for my combination skin.
After trying almost every luxury brand, I settled on Bourjois - I love their foundations! The first and most important thing is the slightly peachy-yellow undertone, which is rarely found in this price range. This tone suits me, whereas the pinkish shade is not for me. I have combination skin without visible imperfections. The texture is average and it conceals unevenness quite well. It works for both full face makeup and just applying it on the T-zone. It doesn't clog pores, oxidize, or slide off in patches, and it holds up well throughout the day. The texture is pleasant, leaving a velvety finish. It blends and spreads easily without a mask-like effect. I would prefer a slightly more moisturizing effect, but overall, I'm satisfied with the result. It has a pleasant scent and comes in a standard bottle. I bought the shade 400 and it matches perfectly. Considering the price, it's a very successful purchase with good value for money. I tried Guerlain shine control ultra mattifying primer, but to my surprise, the Healthy Mix foundation from Bourjois suited me much better. I really liked this foundation, but everyone is different, so I recommend testing it first before buying.
I really like this foundation. It's suitable for combination skin, and it holds up well when set with powder. In the photos, I'm wearing shades 310 and 410.
Mixed feelings... On one hand, it has good staying power and truly mattifies the skin. It has medium coverage (I don't like products that are too heavy), evens out the complexion, and covers minor imperfections. However, it doesn't hide pigmentation spots and post-acne marks. It doesn't transfer onto the phone and doesn't feel like a mask. On the other hand, the texture is a bit thick for my liking. I prefer more fluid products because I apply them with a damp sponge. This product is harder to blend with a sponge compared to the Helsi Mix foundation. The coverage is supposed to be matte but it feels somewhat dry and emphasizes fine lines around the nose. The skin appears slightly dehydrated, even though I moisturize it properly before applying the foundation. It's like it takes away moisture from my skin. Over time, this effect smooths out, but I have to endure it and I want immediate comfort. The shade also didn't quite match me. I use Helsi Mix in shade 51 during winter and 52 in summer. This summer, I barely got a tan, but shade 125 turned out to be too light. I think by the end of winter it should be fine. For now, I have to darken it a bit, which I do with Bourjois 123 Perfect CC in shade 52. Overall, this foundation will find its fans, but I probably won't repurchase it.
Overall, it's nothing special, but the scent is absolutely terrible. It doesn't provide strong coverage either.
Great! I have tried almost all luxury brands, and this one is much better than the others on my face! It has reduced the size of my pores without sinking into them, and it is invisible on my face with decent coverage. However, it may not be suitable for those with dry skin. The finish is matte, but not completely flat, it has a satin effect. It mattifies my oily skin for about 3-4 hours, like all other mattifying creams, but it doesn't slide off my face. Definitely my favorite for this summer. My shade is 110, which is light with a neutral undertone. (In the Healthy Mix range, shade 51 is too bright for me, and shade 110 is lighter). I'm adding the palette in case anyone finds it helpful.
I did not buy it here, but I will leave a review because I also read other people's reviews! The foundation seems alright (the texture, color, etc. are all individual preferences). However, after using it, pimples appear, and they usually show up around 8-10 hours later (I always remove it with a good micellar water, my skincare routine is good, nothing has changed. I thought it could be hormonal or diet-related, but even when I let my skin regenerate and apply it for 4-6 hours, the same thing happens again. My skin is not problematic, but it reacts negatively to this foundation.
As a student, I was a fan of Bourjois' Healthy Mix foundation. But then they changed the shades, and shade 51 became too dark for me.
I decided to try shade 100 - it's perfect for fair skin, with a hint of pink undertone.
I fell for this foundation because it promised everything I want in a foundation: hydration, 24-hour wear, and high coverage.
I have dry/very dry skin with frequent flakiness. I don't have any major imperfections. I'm used to applying foundation with a damp sponge.
This foundation turned out to have very weak coverage. Normally, I use 1-2 pumps of foundation. If I use two pumps of this foundation, it just disappears when applied with primer and cream, and there's not enough for my entire face. I have to use 3 (!) pumps, which is a first for me. And even then, it doesn't cover my minor imperfections like redness around the nostrils or slight redness.
The finish of Always Fabulous is truly natural, and my face looks smooth.
The coverage throughout the day doesn't improve naturally; imperfections come to the surface, so I don't know what they mean by 24-hour wear.
The main problem is not the foundation itself, but what the manufacturer claims and what it actually delivers.
I was hoping that Always Fabulous would be a replacement for the discontinued Catrice 24h Made to stay - but it doesn't even come close.
This is the best foundation for me! It doesn't emphasize any peeling and sits beautifully on the face. I apply it with my fingers, gently blending it into the skin. The product lasts a long time when applied this way - just a little less than one pump. I got the shade 125 - Ivory. It covers capillaries and light traces of rosacea well, without looking like a mask, as it is not completely matte but semi-matte.
I've been searching for a long time for a foundation that would suit my skin (combination with a oily T-zone, dry cheeks, occasional breakouts, and enlarged pores). All the ones I tried either emphasized dryness or made my face shiny, and not every foundation had light shades that match my fair skin tone. I spent months searching for the right one, and finally found the perfect foundation. It can be layered, but I prefer a light coverage so I apply just a little. It lasts the entire workday without excessive shine in my T-zone and without emphasizing dryness. It doesn't settle into pores. I bought the shade 120, which is a light beige with a warm undertone and it suits me well. For those interested in lighter shades, there's shade 110, which has a pink undertone, and shade 125, which is a natural beige (probably more suitable for summer). I highly recommend it. For me, it's a discovery! (I didn't buy it here, but I wanted to leave a review).
I have oily/combination skin. Previously, I used L'oreal Paris 24h Infallible, which kept me matte all day long. I can't say the same about this cream. I decided to try this new product based on a blogger's recommendation. The coverage is less than average. If there are any pimples, spots, etc., it doesn't hide them at all. It provides very light coverage. I started getting oily shine after about 4 hours. It's not suitable for my oily skin.
Thank you for the fast delivery. I purchased size 110.
Good foundation cream. I like many bourgeois products and this one as well. I'm not sure if there is a big difference from bourgeois which costs around 150 hryvnias at a makeup store, but this product seems lighter in color, even though I bought the lightest shades there, 51 and here.
It conceals minor imperfections, but not redness and pimples, no acne at all!
