Cream, pink, red, burgundy, purple, and even yellow buds — lush peonies frequently appear in the photo reels of many women. How could one not be captivated by such enchanting and vibrant beauty? The perfumers at Dolce & Gabbana couldn't resist either, making the peony the star of their latest floral fragrance from the Dolce collection. The Peony Eau de Parfum offers a very fresh, sparkling, and incredibly feminine scent. Spraying the fragrance feels like stepping into a blooming garden, where the peony is beautifully complemented by the honeyed sweetness of mirabelle plum and a slightly smoky woody accord. The floral composition is well-balanced with fruity juiciness and softened by gourmet nuances — resulting in a very cheerful, delicate, and spring-like liveliness. It makes every woman smell delightful, leaving only pleasant memories of herself and her image.
Top notes reveal fresh citrusy shades of bergamot and the juicy sweetness of Chinese pear. A hint of pink pepper and the gentle purity of cyclamen add playfulness and depth.
In the heart notes, the tender feminine peony reigns, intertwining with subtle hints of Bulgarian rose and the freshness of white freesia.
Base notes spread over the body with the juicy, fresh, and very sweet mirabelle plum, with a slight tanginess. Honey and ambroxan enhance its sound, while patchouli and Virginian cedar add warmth and velvety softness.
TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance, added by manufacturers to a batch of products for advertising purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (quality of the fragrance, longevity, etc.) between the tester and the retail version! The only difference is that since testers are produced for promotional purposes, the manufacturer does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in so-called technical packaging (a simple cardboard box, different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap. This is why testers are priced lower.
